To be fair. Bomber is either the best player in the world in his games, or a Code A/B terran.

Sometimes he is both, especially in team league.

Well he has to be at least decent to take out bomber. I don't think anyone is taking anything away from Dear, Bomber just happens to be probably the most inconsistant player ever.

You can say that he is a very volatile player.

How is it sad a random b-teamer has lost to a two-time OSL finalist? His mechanics should be leagues ahead even if Galaxy should know the game a bit better, it's not like it's particularly hard to understand SC2 builds.

Copying builds isn't hard, understanding theory behind build creation is, however. Jangbi has every reason to suck in SC2 and yet he is better in both BW and SC2 than Galaxy.

He just took a fast third and massed blink stalkers, what theory does he need to understand behind that?

I was speaking in general. If it was as simple as just "making a third and massing blink stalkers" the players would have started right at GSL level instead of having to work there, learning the WHY the current builds are used. Jangbi, having to play both BW in proleague and being in the OSL, should have some of the worst understanding of SC2, yet he beat Galaxy like it was nothing.

I mean, that's literally what happened. He made a third and blink stalkers. It's not like he's been playing for a couple days, I'm sure he played before and has the basic understanding to chrono out some units to pressure, then make a third and attack with blink stalkers. It's really not difficult, Galaxy looked pretty bad. The most noteable thing I've seen him do is take a game off MC, followed by getting completely crushed in the rest of the games.

And what has Galaxy done to distinguish himself as a worthy opponent?

Nothing to the current top SC2 players. Based on everyones' opinion of the current skill of KeSPA players in SC2, I definitely expected a better fight, even if he has no notable results.

Impressive win by Dear, obviously

I think everyone is just frustrated how Bomber's skill level seems to be determined by a dice roll

The best Kespa players (those seeded in the WCS quals) could compete in Code A imo.
