Well hey lets not get ahead of ourselves, it's either 9 GSL championships and five runner ups or ten and four. :p

He's not looking that good to be perfectly honest. Yugioh is simply not smart enough to abuse the deficiencies of this roach/hydra style. Like, for instance, if he hadn't decided to engage 4 Queens and a Spore with his Muta flock, he could've done so much more with them. I think Nestea would've lost to a top ZvZer like Leenock or DRG if he tried to play like this. I don't disagree that his form is off from what it used to be, but I still think there is a very, VERY short list of players who can take him down in a ZvZ series, and only a slightly larger list of people who can even take a game off of him. Granted his play was sloppy, but a lot of it came down to missing Yugi's spire timing. But as soon as he saw the mutas he made the best possible choices - keep attacking to keep them at home, make a few more queens + spores (not too many, only made 4 to start), get a hydra den so you don't die and transition to infestors. Textbook and solid, even if he didn't control perfectly or if he didn't scout 100% accurately. Yugi didn't play horribly, he just made a few mistakes and those cost him the game against someone who knows what to do.
nestea has been slumping especially hard in zvz, while he is still fairly good and code S level, i wont be surprised seeing him losing against up and comer zergs like shine, life or hyun.

I think he considers that MC will win this GSL

glad to see two major korean tournaments running now. Having GSL and OSL reminds me of (no disrespect of course to MSL) the old OSL/MSL pairings, and even more comparable, when Gom Starleague was run during those two tournaments too. It's good to see the Korean players have more opportunities in tournament play without having to fly around, displays more raw skill against higher talent, while sparing us the excuses (legit or not) of being jetlagged/tired/etc. Hopefully this also means there'll be less drama about leaving for foreign teams because with 2 tournaments going, they can make a better living, and hopefully even land more major sponsors like the scbw teams did.
Grats to the winners of their groups, pretty sick lineups overall.

4 (MVP) + 3 (Nestea) + 2 (MC) + 1 (DRG) = 10. I guess one could argue about MVP's WC and the Open season titles (MC, Nestea) but most people do count those. So no, they are not counting the current GSL.

For sure. But you will have 2x the competition as well once the Kespa pros catch up (and they are catching up quickly).

MVP, Nestea, MC - voted best in their respective race for last year DRG - best in GSTL, multi-champion MKP - best 2nd finisher, and also multi-champion Parting, Oz - at times considered almost the best, if not the best protoss San - very solid protoss
This is almost like a dream team of all times; Kespa would be heroes to even break through one of these guys.

KING OF QUALIFYING DIDN'T QUALIFY?!
Though I suppose he already did good to qualify for ODT.

Is there any place with VODs of today's/yesterday's games?

Well, Snow did 2-0 Nestea today so anything is possible. But obviously, these 8 are going to be favorites over the Kespa players. If the groups are 2 GSL + 2 Kespa , I think maybe 1 or 2 Kespa will get through to Ro8.

Well would you look at that. After all the paranoia about Bo1...nothing bad happened at all. With the exception of San, all the players people expected to make it through to the next round did so.

Don't forget DRG -___- (1 championship).
MC - 2 DRG - 1 Nestea - 3 MVP - 4 10 in total.
Runner-ups - DRG - 1 MKP - 3
4 in total.
If MC wins GSL, 11 GSL champs, if he loses, 5 runner-ups. But the line-up is still scary...

All the good players are making it through in this OSL. :O

MVP also has a runner up.

I'm so sad. There are basically 0 people at the studio. The only couple of people there are just the players' friends and girlfriends. Sigh.

Starleague has established viewership. This is sad since most of those viewers just don't give a d*** about this new league. All four groups have the biggest names in SC2. And no one, even the SC2 fans, go to see the matches.

This is the first time that all of my favorites advanced together. So excited for the rest of this tournament!

Anyone know when is the Kespa dual tournament?
