I saw him in last Arena bracket, but it is just one performance. Is it like Incontroll in 2011 MLG, show up once in top 16 and just stay there for whole year ? No the whole system for MLG is different now, to have a spot in an arena you need to win qualifiers or be top 8 at the previous MLG championship event. He qualified for this arena specifically to get here.

Grubby took a third but in the mean time attacked with a 3-collosi push with a lot of stalkers. Tefel countered and killed the third of Grubby. But Grubby just went ahead and killed Tefel

Well if you can hold out and then get BL you win. I think Tefel knew he was in trouble when he scouted Grubby's robo bay building, but I guess he didn't have a good transition.

or maybe they showed the strong units, and he figured he could win with the sucky ones.

Grubby started much later than most other SC2 pros, so his initial win-rates were pretty low (like when he went 0-10 in NASL1 and even lost to Artosis) but he's massively improved since then and his win-rate in recent time is much better. Having to win something major is a pretty stupid requisite for being not 'mediocre'. I'm sure SaSe is only slightly above mediocre with only 58% win ratio and no major wins!

I guess with the most points TSL style?
