It was full of creep and he would have had to hold the high ground all game.
It was impossible to hold a 4th going pure blink stalker, and Naniwa knew it hence the probe pull.

Good run by Naniwa but yet again he just fell short of making it to round of 4. There was a point in the game were it looked like he might have won the game but that base from DRG really kept him in the game and allowed him to take the game. Good builds by Naniwa but not enough to take that game 5 from DRG. Really liked Naniwa's 1 gate into expo build.

That game was over after the failed 4gate.

Skill prevails! DRG <33333333333 wtf. sigh. They are both very skilled players. Anyone that tries to deny this needs just stop it now... I have my opinion, you have yours. I respect a player who earned his way into Code S more than someone given a welfare seed. Things turned out the way the should have. You know DRG got seeded too? People have short term memories Short term memories lead to hilarious situations like these, though

Pfff, if DRG keeps playing like this, MC is going to stomp him. He looked way too vulnerable throughout this series and made a bunch of strange decisions.

Slightly off-topic. Where did Nani get his left-handed Deathadder?
|
But right now we can arguably call Naniwa the best foreigner.

Well at least Naniwa is going to be back next season. It would have been nice to see him in the semifinals, but DRG advancing is not too bad either.
|
Naniwa played impressively, no shame in losing in such a close series! Definitely the best foreigner in the world.

valiant effort from Nani and sick builds he pulled, openings so unusual yet effective.

Welp, that's facepalm-worthy.

You know, for some reason I'm not too surprised about DRG being hard to beat.
