To knock #7 down to #9, two players need to get 153 points. Here are the players in range to do that: RO2 - 100 - 1 spot, 33 players in range RO4 - 60 - 2 spots, 15 players in range RO8 - 41 - 4 spots, 8 players in range RO16 - 21 - 8 spots, 1 player in range
There are very few players in range for RO8/RO16 doing this, so mostly it's about who gets the RO2 and the two RO4 spots. With so many players in the top 20 playing today, the amount of possibilities are staggering. I'm trying to imagine different scenarios, but it's gonna be impossible to make any predictions until at least Ro16. It's really exciting though, and a lot of players are streaming so I can do my favourite thing, follow the tournament through player streams

Why is Violet allowed to participate? Don't you have to be living outside of Korea as a Korean? Afaik he is living in Korea for the next few months for the GSL.
Also, good for Lalush, competing even though he's already in.

No, you can choose your region, but only one. And I think you only get your flight from that region.

1. You must have access to a North American Battle.net StarCraft 2 account. 2. You must have chosen to participate in the EU/NA Qualifiers to the exclusion of the KR Qualifiers. 3. You cannot be a national and resident of Korea. 4. You must be be registered and logged into your TL account to register and play. 5. Fill in your account details in your TL profile. Make sure they are correct for the server (NA).
By rule three he is out

Of course, I decide to try this qualifier for the fun of it and I get matched up with QuanticIllusion first round. Lucky me :D.

Well, I'm Zerg facing a Terran, so that's a plus. I'm also Gold league, so that is a minus. We'll see, I guess .

Ok, liquipedia said otherwise. But Violet was a US-resident for a long time. Just because he`s back in Korea for GSL, doesnt make him a resident.
