Saying someone is all hype and then ignoring tournament results is ridiculous, and asking for only recent results is just what people do when they want to shit on a good player who has won too much stuff in the past. There are people qualified who haven't won anything, but according to you Huk and others are overrated and not worthy of qualification because he's ONLY gotten 3rd and 4th in MLG this year. He played well in MLG Winter but then when you look at MLG Spring: - Arena 1: Finished last
- Arena 2: Eliminated in Round 2
- Spring Champs: Eliminated after two rounds (was seeded into open bracket R4)
Then he isn't getting far in the TSL4 Qualifiers. So people who expect him to place in the top 8 are basing the expectations on earlier performance (which was indeed on top), but one must consider the recent performance too, same for these new and upcoming players. In this quite large and very competitive SC2 scene it takes a little to drop below many other great skilled players and you must work very hard to get back there. In the end the present performance is all that matters.
Keep spewing your bullshit. He's one of three foreigners to make it to top eight of NASL, and had to beat ganzi in a best of five to get there

Best finals of all the NA/EU qualifiers. Entertaining play by both players and entertaining casting from Wheat and especially Axeltoss. Hell yeah can't wait for the big show.

Yay! Jonnyrecco qualified! UK Fighting! Hope a bigger team picks him up soon

nice attack by major, wasn't sure he was going to break.

Not a single NA player qualified, right? Pretty disappointing.

Also 100 bucks for the winner, only 50 for the other finalist.
Not that much but always good to take.

But he did play quite well in the qualifiers so I'm excited to see how he does in the main event.

In the end the present performance is all that matters. Playing poorly in 2 tournaments means nothing. As for the qualifiers, Huk got eliminated mostly in Bo1's. Your point is that he's actually dropped so far in skill that he couldn't have qualified? Do you really believe that? If you do, then I don;t know what more to say. Of course you don't have more to say because there is no other explanation than he's just throwing the games for no reason (and that would be kinda stupid). There are 10 EU/NA qualifiers so some "unlucky" Bo1 eliminations can be rectified later. If he can't go through any of them, then I guess we must consider the other players who managed to go through playing better now.

Oh yeah. Well, maybe he cared somewhat then. Seeding isn't the most important thing, I'm not even sure how they'll do their seeding... as all the qualifier winners should be equivalent to each other, the ones who qualified by points could be ranked... but how does EU/NA compare to KR? Are Thorzain/Naniwa/Kas seeded #1/2/3? Hell, in NASL 1 being seeded first was terrible.

If you don't think HuK is playing far worse than he used to then there's no point in arguing with you.
