I know Symbol and Nestea aren't the same zergs but Byun looked really good. His TvZ was a little bit scary, incredibly ruthless.

Saying that, Symbol losing to Seed doesn't mean he is instantly bad; so the possibility of both zergs progressing is highly likely. Symbol is one hell of a beast. At the very least we should get some sick, sick games!

Byun vs Symbol is very interesting to me. I feel right now Symbol is better then Nestea but Byun is a beast. It will be interesting to see them both. I just hope DRG can make it out of the group without getting to Entombed Valley.

OSL is not going to be very popular with foreigners I don't think, I don't know if OGN cares about that or not though.

You know that, and I know that. But the majority of people who watch SC2 don't know or agree with that.

OGN is not going to reach a large foreign audience without an official English stream, unless Sayle commentates every day and everyone watches that. Even if that does happen the numbers will not be on an official stream and OGN may not even know that the numbers are there and abandon all plans to cater to international viewers because of the low count on official streams. ( this may have already happened and might be the reason why there is no English stream, actually. )

OSL games are always precious, that's a good thing.
Players prepare couple weeks for one single OSL game, that's why we love OSL so much.

Dodgin about stream-viewership, I agree. Sadly I can't remember which time it was, but around one of the first live matches broadcast through EsportsTV there were more than double the number of viewers on restreams, than on the official one (which racked up about 4000). Dammit, I wish they'd try harder to cater to us, because if they did, they'd find out (albeit with a bit of prodding) that WE ARE THERE, even though we can't get it on our TV.

I'd watch it, but its wayyyy too early in the morning and there's no English stream. If there are vods though, I'll check them out.

uhh I completely disagree. They are interesting to listen to for short portions but I MUCH prefer the better English casters.

They have pretty much the exact same potential for a quality SC2 game as a BO7 in SC2 so please refrain from acting like a BW elitist thx.

I'm really peeved at people who insist Korean commentators are superior to English ones.

1. Just because it's been done this way for ages doesn't mean there isn't a better solution to broadcast to foreign audiences.

2. Korean commentators and English ones have completely different cultures behind them. Go check out how many Tastosis quotes there are on youtube and you realize that international esports has taken on a life of its own.

3. Please be courteous to the fact that there are people out there who actually enjoys UNDERSTANDING what they are listening to. You can downplay the language barrier, but it's indisputable that not understanding korean leaves you missing out on social commentaries, jokes and cultural references. In that respect you miss out 80% of the delivered content.

The times have changed.
Keep that in mind before you post something stupid.

I find korean commentators to be superior yes, but don't act like I tried to assert that belief onto you so you don't need to get all that defensive.

Superior how, anyways? It is obviously not in game knowledge since you dont understand a word they are saying.. you prefer to listen to higher/more eager yelling? I honestly ponder on how all the old BW fans concluded they simply are better.. love (for the game) makes blind they say.

Chill. It's just an opinion. The bw boys prefer korean commentary because it's what they have listened to for the past decade. Obviously the sc2 guys will prefer english commentary (or perhaps they may enjoy korean too) because sc2 started out having english commentary

English casting is great, but when you already have an understanding( I'm no expert but I know whats going on) towards a game a lot of things that are spoken in a cast will seem repetitive and i'm not saying thats bad, well these someone new watching every day, but then whats left? English casters rarely get me excited, their jokes are good but thats it....Korean casters give me that feeling of pure hype and excitement, and I know they're knowledgeable thanks to subbed games and translations.
