He got second at the most stacked SC2 tournament to date. That's way harder than going through the Code A qualifiers. Calling it a handout is a joke. Actually getting second at Providence wasn't really that hard for Naniwa since he only had three matches to win to get there. The real accomplishment was Leenock first place through open bracket, and after that the fourth place for Mvp through the same conditions. Even if I recognize that Naniwa had a good run at Providence (Nestea and DRG is no easy task), you can't say it was this hard because the format was favorizing immensely the seeded player (a seed that Naniwa got by winning the easiest MLG of the year and then getting 6-8 place at every other one). But anyway, Naniwa has earned his place in code S, still he's not the obvious best answer to any opponent in this match-up (especially not in PvZ).

Leenock, however, makes 24 lings instead of the 11 workers Curious is making. 6:00 Both morph banelings, but Leenock is playing more aggressively. 2 of curious' banes detonate uselessly, 2 of leenock's hit drones! Leenock sends in only banelings to do damage lol. 7:00 leenock just drones back up, and so does curious. Curious does not lose a whole lot, and the game stabilizes. However, leenock sends in more banelings and kills more workers. he's up 37 to 21 supply. 8:00 Curious has a faster lair and roach warren, leenock gets +1 armor while curious has +1 range on the way 9:00 Wolf making curiosity jokes. Both players have lings and banelings running around the map, but Leenock tries to take a third. its canceled, curious takes his own, and lings are chasing each other. Roach switch by curious is imminent. 10:00 Leenock rushes to infestation pit, with no ranged units on the way. He tries to be aggressive with his lings, but both of them end up canceling each other's thirds. 11:00 curious catches some drones out of pposition, kills them, almost kills a queen, and runs into the main to see the infestation pit and kill drones! He immediately sends out his roaches. 12:00 8 infestors on the way, but the roaches are already half way across the map. Leenock tries to runby some lings to buy time but it doesn't matter, and suddenly there aree roaches in his natural. 13:00 fungals hit the roaches, and a lot of them die but he's low on energy. leenock's own roaches pop, but there is NOT enough. Leenock GGs.
