It's the fault of the tournament organizers for using the round robin format.

I'm pretty sure Nightend didn't lose on purpose, but this is off the mark. Only Nightend can take the blame for his own poor play.

Why would nightend throw the game? why wouldn´t he want to take a game off mvp, and why would he wouldnt want monchi to qualify. Stop saying these moronic things

I said he thew a big advantage (that he had in-game) away.

I agree, he said it in a normal mature way. He didn't go around calling it gay and the organizers fags. If there were more people that agreed with his sentiments he definitely wouldn't have gotten a warning.

If he keeps playing sloppy (well, sloppy for his standards), a good zerg can probably take him out.

What if IdrA beats Mvp?

The Fanboys and Haters would probably cause these forums to explode.

"terrible" "disappointing"

he didnt throw curses but thats still pretty insulting for all the people who produce such an outstanding event

He threw both games imo...

You guys are kidding right? "throwing games" means, like, you intentionally lose. Right?

running 10 HTs into the enemy army without any backup and stopping to upgrade with a 2k 1k bank kinda looks like hes intentionally losing no?

He was caught offguard by cloaked ghosts and had his HT's clumped up. He wanted to set up a storm flank but it completely backfired. Also, these guys have been up and playing since 11am, they are probably pretty tired.

Running one of the slowest units on the lowground in vision range of the enemy with no backup ( and no way to give them backup even if mvp wouldnt have seen them they wouldve been trapped and killed after the first storm...he simply wanted to put them on the highground bait mvps army and then storm from there but missclicked and didnt notice...

And you still have no excuse for stopping upgrades as he had more than enough income to do so

It's called Nightend played badly, your conspiracy theories are annoying.

Seriously, take a look at the clock. People are fucking tired and will make weird moves sometimes. Especially when they are already out.

That's not foreigner, that's even worse.
He sent his whole army back to his base, but all the HT to death, how is that even possible. A foreigner keeps all his units in one control group, you can just tab through until you find your ht, no need for an extra control gropu for your HT.

I mean the fact that he played poorly against Mvp most likely had to do with the fact that he was already eliminated from the tournament and in a bad mental state.

I knew Sleep and Snute would be the ones to get out of that group. =D

Also lol @ MVP losing to a random protoss (the kid is just a random to MVP, don't tell me otherwise) and almost not getting out of his group. Would have been pretty silly if MVP didn't get out of an easy group like that. xD

If he did that he probably would have gotten a ban. And yes, even if there were more people that agreed he probably would have gotten a warning because there is no discussion that results from a comment like that that doesn't evolve into a flamewar.

exactly, he did just a tiny mistake which resulted in a big mistake. he miscontrolled his HT group.

much the same thing happened to MVP too in that game, but no one even mentioned that. he lost just 5-6 ghosts though, and not 8? HTs.

Well I think round robin is bad and has contributed to many results that wouldn't happen with Dual Tournament in the past, not even just this tournament as an example. But yes of course only Nightend is to blame for losing.
