Why would you ever do anything else. There are a lot of things I question with Nightends play there, but tbh attacking the 4th is very low on the list. He was very chargelot heavy, so he was kind of invested in going in that way rather than at the high ground, plus esp after ghosts are out, sentries just aren't enough to ensure that you won't get flanked. That HT massacre and lack of upgrades were more issues than his continuing attacks down that ramp, and like you said he should've gotten more bases+gates(and more cannons!), but admittedly gate units(bar HT) kinda suck with so high upgrade disadvantage, even chargelots. | ||
