Well, she was in Diamond league when she was recruited into Slayers (that was after the introduction of Master and Grandmaster btw) and in their announcement when they introduced her they said she was chosen based on "skill and looks". Should tell you enough about the intentions of her recruitment.

but the key thing is that it was
1) based on byun fucking up, not on wanting to win
2) it was the second game where byun was down 1-0 so they just went to a third
so yeah, its wrong, but nothing like matchfixing.

Yeah, basically. CoCa would've 2-0ed Byun, Byun begged for a third game and since CoCa needed ZvT practice and nobody at Slayers was free for him, he gg'ed to play an additional game against Byun.

It was the first round of a weekly tournament, not even the grand finals. There was no Code A spot that season.
Coca agreed to GG out despite having won because he wanted more practice games since all the slayers T were away, not anything to do with the spot. They then played out game 3 completely standard and unfortunately for the 2 of them Byun won it.

Wasn't there a Code A spot in that one, and they removed it for the one afterwards because of the Byun/CoCa incident? Why else would Byun care so much about winning it?
