I hope killer wins so that these two don't have to cast PvT finals :D

100% agreed. I guess it shows that when care is invested in a product, there's something intangible that makes the result more special. A stark contrast with some other organizations that just seem to throw content at the screen to see what sticks.

Stayed on 2 base for ever and then took a half base as his third. He had to end the game earlier, his economy was just bad once his main mined out.

You realize that's not bad play but a strategical choice to avoid the late game right?

What's the difference? It's a decision that caused him to lose. Making bad decisions isn't different from making other mistakes, like Killer's poor engagements.
It's spelled LOSE not LOOSE.

No not really classic at all. Both players played poorly, and as much as I think Killer didn't deserve that win, Beasty really didn't either

It was still a poor timing. Getting a bunch of tech with a 2 base all in timing is a poor strategical choice.

There's a big difference in the sense that it's even questionable to call a strategic decision like that a mistake and killer didn't just have poor engagements, he played like shit compared to beasty on many fronts.

Game two was an awful awful game by both players, really shouldn't ever be looked at as an example of balance. Both players wanted to lose that game with all their hearts.

This. I think TvZ is imba for zerg at the moment, but this game is not an example of it.

Yeah, Beasty is obviously better. I guess his build in game 2 was just really bad, since even with good execution, Killer could still defend while floating 1k/1k.

I don't understand how, when both players choose low econ play, everyone looks upon it as an example of bad play. That was a pretty good game played by both players, definitely some decision making mistakes made, but none that made no sense given the context. Sometimes I think we're expecting way too much from the players, there's a fog of war, remember.

EDIT: I guess by low econ, I mean Beasty.

Banshees are still pretty good if your opponent isnt prepared for it. Beasty is playing pretty well, Killer not so much at the moment. Beasty is quite ahead.

Reactor Hellions into Triple OC + Double Ebay + Banshee is pretty old, nothing super groundbreaking at least

I'm extremely impressed with beasty's play, his upgrade timings, his control, everything very on point.

There was a bigass bank for KiLLeR, something like 2k minerals at one point in the game

I really like Beasty mixing in Ravens earlier on than usual
