For non-kaspa side, 16 players go to 4 groups. That is 4 players in each group, Then it's kind of how the Ro32 and RO16 of GSL is:


A vs B
C vs D
Winner of A/B vs Winner C/D (Match 3) (winner advances)
Loser of A/B vs Loser of C/D (Match 4) (loser eliminated)
Winner of Match 4 vs Loser of Match 3 (winner advances, loser eliminated)

Same thing happens to Kaspa players, however they are 12 into 3 groups.
