We didn't anticipate this happening (player sitting next to player commenting on the game), so we don't have a rule against it.

Currently though we are warning/discouraging players from doing this. I believe Hayder and Ret have stopped.

well you cant really prevent it from happening

So? People hack and we can't stop that, so we should not care about someone we see hacking either?

one can prevent hacking, but you cannot prevent what ret and haypro are doing. or do you wanna control how players get advice from their friends while playing sc2?

If one could prevent hacking why does it still appear and people win games with them? If you think Spades is the only person in Starcraft 2 who's hacked for tournament's, you're very naive.

It's not okay to have someone sit next to you and help you play in a tournament, no matter what.

you call me naive, but try to compare two different things.

What's the difference exactly? If I have a maphack that spots drops for me, or if I have a friend who spots them for me? What if I have a pro friend who tells me when to take my gases, what units to make and when and where to defend, like ret was doing for Haypro?

That was not was ret was doing. It seems you are intentionally trying to give people the completely wrong impression. Ret saw haypro playing and made a couple of simple comments. He didn't sit spotting for drops, or "coached". He stopped after about 1 min since it distracted haypro and it probably wasn't a good idea because of people like you.

#2 seed is cursed (quite literally this time, LOL). 11 points total have been won by #2 seeds in 6 qualifiers.

Please don't start a random course.

Damn it Socke. :-| You go and loose to an american ;P

That's exactly what ret was doing. I was literally hearing him telling Haypro there's a drop coming to his main, that he needs to take more gases, and that he should make corruptors. I didn't just pull that out of my ass. And he was doing it for a lot more than one minute. If anyone is fabricating things, it's you.

"People like me." Yeah. People who prefer when players win by their own merit, not through cheating.

NinjaAUS?

No, no no. That is the Australian hero Ninja of Sequential Gaming. He's beaten such players as NesTea on KR ladder, he's beaten ST.RainBOw in tournaments.

Definitely do not underestimate this guy.
