EPTTo elaborate slightly, it's because Liquid was the loser's bracket winner in a Double Elimination tournament, and IM hasn't lost a match yet, whereas, Liquid had, therefore, Liquid needed to win 1 Bo9 to reset it for the Grand Finals. Stupid format, imho.
