You can't argue against it. This. tell me that when he wins back to back gsl No. There's no question about who's the best player in the world atm. i'm questioning this? How does winning in teamleague == best player? That means losira is the second best player in the world..see where the logic falters? Yeah cuz he's only won team league games...I mean...He definitely didn't win MLG summer arena and ASUS ROG. He's basically won everything the last month. Reminds me of MKP, and DRG after that. Hope Taeja can last longer than most 'best in the world' players. I'll give him one more month before someone else replaces him, I've got my money on IMfirst. He wins TSL 4 in my Bracket (First). Maybe a little bit to soon but I have the same feeling. I've somehow got hack winning the whole thing but first beats taeja, dunno why just got a feeling.

gosh you are so right :D Yea, but Flash, Action, Crazy-hydra, Hoejja and Stats aren't as good as any Liquid players so I don't know why you would compare those two teams. If they were to play right now, even with Pro League format, KT would lose to TL. well he was referring to the BW only time i think

Have you not seen him speak to the TL players after every game? he immediately leaves his seat to speak to his team and take advice / criticism from them.

Teamliquid are supporting him every step of the way, wether it be inspirational support, tactics / strategy advice / cannon foddering so he can have more time to recover, whatever. Its a team effort.
In all team games, you have a star player, but they cant win it alone (most of the time) - for example my FPS team has a fucking beast of a sniper, but he cant win it without the rusher calling locations, the team locking locations down, taking players out and allowing him to scout regular locations and take them out too. Alone, he would be located and fucked in the butthole, its much the same for taeja IMO. No, it's pretty much Taeja's win any way you want to put it. This isn't an FPS, it's a 1v1 RTS.
As i said, how would he have done had he played from game 1 of the 2nd Bo9? or had nobody to discuss his worries or take advice with?
Its the same concept, just applied in different ways.

People mix up "best player in the moment" with "most accomprished player". And we can do nothing to change that.
But but.. the best player at the moment isn't the most accomplished, and so isn't the best player in the moment.

Atleast the games have been long to make up for the supersized breaks.

a good lot of 'good' players probably wouldn't think the same thing any longer. many pros stated that they practiced little or disliked practicing as much as their peers, and many of those same players are now saying that competition is tough these days. genius switched over to slayers, a team that is well-known to have a strict practice regiment.
i'm just gonna throw it out there. talent only brings you so far, there are many, many great players who let their practice do the speaking. bisu, flash, fantasy... a whole roster of broodwar players, and i'd wager that many of the top SC2 players put a lot into their practice as well---regardless of how much learning/playing ability they have---this is their job after all.
you can be so good at the game that it seems/seemed like you have some sort of obvious talent.

How is your health lately?
I thought the reason I couldn’t exert any force on my wrist was because of the wrists themselves. However, I recently got in touch with GGPlay (T/N: the name MVP mentions has two results in TLPD, the other, Jjando, just looks very unlikely to be whom he is talking about). He told me that he had the exact same symptoms that I have. At the time, GGPlay retired and I continued. After GGPlay got out of the army, he had an examination which revealed that the problem wasn’t in the wrist but in the cervical disc. So, I am planning to get my cervical disks examined shortly.

Wow I thought I was gone for a long time and was wondering whether it would end before I got back with SC2 games being shorter on average and all, but I guess the long downtimes stretched it out

Cannon fodder does tend to have a reason.

If TaeJa can win the next GSL (which will be at IPL5), he will forever remembered in esports history. If he can keep the momentum, he'll be near the same level of legendary as iloveoov (ofcourse not at the level, but close enough).
If he can't, then he's another MarineKing -.- (not to take anything away from MKP, he's just MKP...you know what I mean)

thats like what?
8 hours now?

Why are people even trying to discuss the fact that Taeja is the best player in the world right now.

I think DongRaeGu can challenge him. Has the best macro on the planet with the play of a champion. I think DRG is the only one who could challenge Taeja. Edit: Note I'm not sure who would win At the moment however, DRG has been performing awful. I think he's lost his last 5 important matches in a row? Lost to Hero at IPL Car Show. Lost to MC in GSL Semifinals. Lost to Leenock in GSTL Semifinals. Lost to Polt in WCG Group Finals.Lost to Creator in WCS Korea WR1. Because Taeja is better than Polt and Polt beat DRG, Taeja would beat DRG. Yeah, that's the obvious conclusion from everything that has been quoted/stated. Fionn is stating that DRG is slumping like hell lately and has been playing like shit, citing his notable losses. I still don't believe that a authentic slump in ZvP carries on to his ZvT. So much more of ZvP is about reaction and reacting to your opponets builds, while ZvT you can force yourself into what you want. I think DRG could take down Taejaa, regardless of his zvp results. retreats into the MVP_DRG fanclub realm
It's mostly a matter of consistency, and DRG has been looking very weak recently. As stated before, he lost to Polt 2-0, so his ZvT at the highest level is weak. TaeJa is looking like the better player than Polt, so it is a reasonable inference to say that TaeJa would beat DRG.
