Curious as to why Illusion is the fourth player. If you wanted a big name that's at a young age, wouldn't someone like Maru, who went to Code S and beat players like Hero and MC, be a better choice?

Hero and MMA surely are good versus Zerg but DRG ist just incredible good. That said, both players are incredible good and can beat DRG on a good day. And Illusion... he seems to be good, but not quiet on the level of the other three.
And a four player tournament with double elimination is certainly an interesting idea.

So you're inviting an MLG/IEM/GSL champion, an MLG/IEM/GSL/Blizzard cup champion, a dreamhack champion/GSL ro4 player, and a 2nd place in a "small random tournament" player. Makes sense.

Illusion seems so out of place.

On another note, I really hope to see DRG vs MMA, I've wanted to watch MMA's TvZ against a top top zerg since the patch.

One of the very few reasons I would want to live in Southern California is the possibility of attending badass SC2 events. Sigh...maybe I can get one of my siblings to attend and pretend I went. Despite my sadness this looks like an awesome event. I am crossing all of my fingers that somehow Illusion will win.
