I'm not thinking of a change that would negate the drop strategy, but give the protoss player an option as to whether he'd want to deal with the baneling shower or the infestors with his templar. In addition, this would imply that overlords should also have an ability that costs energy and therefore might not have a large impact on the racial balance. Just thinking out loud here.

zergs dont focus on creep spread enough either, which is very important vs the immortal allin.

and ling infestor or ling bane+drop are build counters to it, they just have other weaknesses.
