There's this weird thing in Sc2 casting where the casters are always lying to the audience and yet for some reason half the audience want to be lied to.

If your in a position where you play Starcraft 2 and there's 1 or 2 players better than you of your race, I'd say you've hit the big time. Stephano hasn't won a premier tournament in 8 months. Just throwing that stat out there for people who seem to forget it all too often.
True but he has consistently placed highly in most big tournaments, and usually being the highest placing foreigner.

No he doesn´t. It is the strongest tournament in the world, but many of the GSL players come to foreign events as well, where Stephano consistently brings results. GSL is a lot about preparation, so I actually think foreign tournaments are maybe a better indicator of pure skill. Before I get flamed for that, I still think, that DRG and Symbol are better players atm. and that DRG and Nestea are more succesful players overall (than Stephano). But in the end, GSL is just a tournament, although it is the strongest in the world.
