g2 was a reactive 2 base attack after a failed 3 base ling bane bust. g3 was Sase making it look like g1, but instead of a third, it was an immotal push with 8 gates. | ||

The moment Protoss scouts hydras they pull back and, because they have their robo, they do a fast tech switch to colossi, take a third, and you're screwed with a bunch of hydras. Hydras are not able to chase and by the time they get to the other side of the map, the Protoss has colossi tech and plenty of FFs to delay until his colossi are up. Hydras are not able to punish the Protoss for doing this push. Roach ling is able to hold this, and holding it results in a quick win because with roach ling the Protoss is not able to get out after they commit. But it's hard, and requires precise play, which Stephano didn't have that game. | ||
