I believe Ryung would have been better.
No doubt it's going to be a PvP to end it, with Extreme.

I think Ryung shouldve been sent out, much better chances of not being sniped if he wins.

slayers is in some deep shit now lol
ZeNEX still has Pet, Extreme, and Cutter.
|
trust me ryung would have been a worse choice vs line
|
Ryung would just get baneling/roach amoved like everyone else has been vs Line lately. JYP is a better bet imo.

Ryung's vZ isn't as good, and the remaining threat from ZeNEX are the Protoss (though their remaining Terrans should be enough to take on JYPvT).

meh, sloppy plays even from the dominant players... maybe i am just pampered by the last fierce GSL.
I think you have to expect a few more mistakes in the GSTL.
Lose a map and you're done, you can only really prep for one race or map or player in advance, and you have no idea what anyone is likely to do when you encounter them because players may have prepared an intentional snipe build for you.
There's a lot of pressure and a lot more uncertainty than the individual seasons.

All treme would do is chronoboost his second stalker and shut down Ryung's 1rax FE

JYP is probably the best choice. You need someone that can take down a zerg and then probably Treme (Protoss). Unless zenex has a hidden Terran gosu on the bench, this is about as good a matchup as Slayers can expect here.
Time to see if this EG partnership can pay off.

Compare that to Ganzi sitting on top of the natural ramp on CK, with a nice concave with ghosts and vikings and Vines just amoves through and wins. Harrier kept trying to end the game, but played pretty sloppy. I mean, no concussive shells, super late 2-2 (in comparison to his 1-1), no fourth, kept having zealots attack his third (go clean up the pylon??), kept getting ghosts fedback... One amazing move doesn't win the game unfortunately. yeah. Bad ghost vs ht micro, no obs scan (a vital skill toi have in TvP), he also lost sloppily his 2 first vikings like 5 seconds before the colossi arrived. All that adds up.

Just put out a Terran next and Zenex wins

I was hoping to see Ryung next, so I could see him playing vs treme :/

They're not as good as Harrier I think.

One amazing move doesn't win the game unfortunately. I don't deny, that Harrier's control was sloppy and he was indecisive. Puzzle defended really really well as he is known for it. That's why I compared the flipside, where a protoss showed even worse control and still just rolled through. Also there was a carpet EMP when Puzzle killed the sensor tower.. that should have been the moment where Puzzle got crushed, but 2ish collossi were enough to melt everything. Compare that to a terran getting caught out and eats 2 storms... But when you are so marine heavy Colossi are super good. 2 Colossus are enough to kill a stimmed marine (that hasn't been healed) in one shot, thus why they are so effective. Needed to pull back and mass up vikings at that point. Better than trying to rush in and end the game He could have killed the 3rd nexus and run, but his viking production would have been too slow to stop the advancing protoss army. Also he was committed due to no 4th. No doubt there were mistakes and no doubt that Puzzle defended very well. Hell, which coach is so crazy to send out a Terran vs Puzzle and pick cloud kindom? Then again, all I"m saying is that I have seen worse plays by protoss that ended in rolling through terrans. No arguments here, Terran in general are really struggling vs the colossus switch. Not sure what the answer is, but I'm sure there is one!
Sure there is... some patch from Blizz.
