I kind of disagree with sending out Zenio first when you only have two koreans available as that is very likely going to result in putting HUGE pressure on Hero. Still, guess it did get momentum on Liquid's side however briefly.

Really hope liquid can turn it around for the next one, but it gets more difficult from here on out.

I think sending Hero against Life right away was not the best idea. I think trying to snipe him with Zergs might have been better and then hope for Hero 3-kill

Life has an 80% win rate in zvz...

83 % even....that should be the 2nd best next to NesTea...

I think he could even rape DRG, and it wouldnt even look like an upset.
Quit talking about Nestea's ZvZ as if its still special. Life would destroy Nestea.

Remember Haypro can play a fairly even series vs Nestea. Look what happened to Haypro today.

Thats hard to judge, since I assume they play a different style of ZvZ

Taking into account raw results, I reckon NesTea still holds the crown with his GSL record in that matchup.

Life can be judged only by his team games, and still lacks big success in solo tournaments

If you want to go by raw stats(which is an absolutely awful way to make a comparision then in the last 6 months Life would still win

Obviously Life has not been playing the players of NesTeas caliber but that is why stats suck lol. The days of NesTeas invulnerability lie in the times when it was rare to see more than 3 bases in ZvZ...
Life has won two GSLs and a Blizzard Cup. NOT three GSLs.

Obviously Life has not been playing the players of NesTeas caliber but that is why stats suck lol. The days of NesTeas invulnerability lie in the times when it was rare to see more than 3 bases in ZvZ... it was often Ling/Bane until one player bludgeoned the other to death. And while NesTea was very good at it. You cannot compare it to the present day ZvZ.

He lost because he played worse, that's how the game works, you can't pull the "standard" card as an excuse. He obviously plays how he thinks he can win, that's all there is to it.

I REALLY hope Liquid signed Sheth/Ret/Nony on their roster list for this season in case any of them decide to go to Korea (I believe both ret and sheth said they considered going for a match or two). It would suck a lot if they came to Korea and couldn't play

Well, after losing to ZeNEX they had less than 48 hours until their elimination match versus NsHoSeo, it's now down to 36 hours. I hope they're spending the time wisely. And by the way, HayprO's been back in Korea since mid January now.

I hope they will show better results in that uphill battle versus NsHoSeo on Thursday. Otherwise this first GSTL season alone as a team will have been very short and disappointing for Liquid.

I didn't expect to see life so early, but I get this feeling he was supposed to be the go-to ZvZ sniper, although still showing very strong play against hero and jinro.

In his interview he said he was going to be sent second regardless of who it was.
