And if it werent for them, i dont see how this event would be of interest, considering the extremely small prize pool. Probably good as warmup for wcs though... Winner gets a trip to Korea, and I wouldn't write off the other Swedish stars attending

Although SaSiWa may be the biggest name here, I don't see how the rest of the players is necessarily bad. Cytoplasm, for example, had a pretty good run @ DH:Summer in the groups (7-2) before loosing to eventual winner in the Ro16

I guess the mere presense of a player of naniwas caliber makes this look silly in my eyes because he is more than likely to win this and that would make the prize money look like pocket change in the hands of nani, and the trip would have been paid by quantic anyways. Maybe a bit pessimistic of me though...

Maybe a bit pessimistic of me though... Yes, reaching GSL quarterfinals twice is no small feat at all, but only because of that, don't see the rest of the Swedish players as bad. In E-Sport SM February final, Naugrim's multitasking on Dual Sight was pretty good. I'm still seriously wondering why he isn't giving more non-Koreans a run for their money. (And he had a decent run during DH: Summer)

Isn't this the first time since the Inferno Online tournaments just after release that we get to see most of the top Swedish names play each other? Missing some names, mainly ThorZain but also LaLush, HayprO, Morrow, StjarnaN and Seiplo. Still a cool lineup and a lot of players who can give SaSe and NaNiWa a good match. I know I will be watching this. My guess is that they want to come as rested as possible for WCS Sweden. However I think that they're gonna regret giving SaSiWa a proper chance to warm-up...

![]() Now, the Google-translate thing kinda butchers ![]() BarCraft: In the WCS qualifier you're facing ![]() SjoW: Really, I didn't know that. Well, they don't look bright, had it been in the last patch I would have schooled him. Now I feel lika taking a shower every time I face a zerg just to calm myself down. Enjoy ![]()

I know that NaNiwa has said in a Rakaka interview that he would much rather win a Swedish event then anything else (MAYBE after the GSL), so I don't think that he has anything against representing Sweden in Korea, even if he has lived there for quite some time now.

I know I will be watching this. Was this directed to me? If so, i thought I already explained why I think this tournament seems silly to me? Im not overly nationalistic. I like to see foreigners do good, no matter which country theyre from. This tournament features one really good player in sase and one great player in naniwa. The other players arent exactly BAD but in comparison to sasiwa, they fade. Just my OPINION though.
