You realize that's exactly 1/8 with 8 players still in tournament and everyone has virtually the same chance to win, so essentially you just said nothing ^^
Cheering for Squirtle, as i always do!

Well, maybe not SaSe, his PvZ is ... no words. Hahaha, poor man hates the match-up almost as much as Bomber hates TvT. Bomber hates TvT? Yes, he hates it. He has always hated it even when he was crushing through Code A. ^^ Source? Just search up his interviews on TL if you're interested. He doesn't like TvT mostly because it's so easy to fall behind on the metagame due to the proliferation of different openings that keep getting developed. Also because he dislikes mech play and thinks it's boring as fuck (which is why he defaults to marine/tank more often than not, even though his mech is actually goddamn good). Even when his TvZ was easily his weakest MU, he would always say he wanted to play TvP and TvZ over TvT just because they're more interesting for him and the viewers. He really loathed TvT a ton pre-BF nerf.
Those interviews are from a year ago. He may still have the same feelings though.

It's a Swedish chick messing with Stephano or pulling some meme shit I don't know.

All right, Stephano 2-0ed MC at the Arena like a week ago, so he can theorically take a serie of pretty much any protoss on the planet.
Now the thing is that he is going to have to take those series in a row..Parting, MC, and then Squirtle.
Hard.. :/

Stephano might as well be winning at poker or chess, I don't think it makes much of a difference to him, as long as it earns him money.
Don't mind anyone else winning, but would like SaSe to get top3 at least. The guy is due for some good tournament placings.
Thats not true. I think Stephano enjoys and likes the game. He is just super laid back...

Can someone please link me to the stream? I can't find it on the sidebar..

A year ago, his TvT was actually terrifyingly good, and he still disliked the MU. Now it's a year later, his TvT is not as solid as before, and he probably hates it even more because he is losing TvT more, lol.
I hope he wins this, but I'm not counting on it. I'm actually interested in seeing Bomber vs. Squirtle or Bomber vs. Parting if the brackets work out that way.

Which is basically what I said in my previous post, imho pretty much all players have the same chance to win the whole thing, with the exception of Sase & Taeja, who imho are just not good enough overall, or just extremly good in 1 matchup & poor in the others ^^
Usually there is one clear favorite, some MVP or Nestea around, or maybe 2 that you know that they will face in the finals (Polt vs Stephano at Lone Star Clash), but this tournament is really stacked, really hard to make a prediction. I would even say facing 3 P in a row is a disadvantage for Stephano, as he will be scrutinized in each game, and if he wins a ZvP, his next opponent will learn from the mistakes of the previous one, and so on.

(Vote): Squirtle (Vote): PartinG (Vote): TaeJa (Vote): Bomber (Vote): Sase (Vote): MC (Vote): viOlet
For any z or p, Squirtle isn't just scary he's downright terrifying. In 40+ games between IPL4 + GSL + yesterday's groups he played just against NesTea's vP (which is, for the record, awful) and ended up 4-4. He also beat Leenock 2-0 (again, not Leenock's best MU in the slightest) And then he struggled vs Ret 2-1 In a 45 days time-lapse that's just not enough players of not enough calibre in that matchup to earn the title "terrifying". Such title can be easily addressed to his vP and vT instead. WTF???????????????????? -- Squirtle has an approximately 71% win rate in KOREA and, in his last 24 games against Zerg, is 21 and 3 in KOREA against KOREAN players like DRG, Symbol, Seal, Leenock, etc. (Since you're obviously unaware of the Korean TLPD database and games played in tournaments like the GSL I wanted to emphasize KOREA.). So to prove a point you go to the TLPD and post the record of games played in October/November 2011? That's your point? In the last 45 days he is 8-5 vs Zerg with a terrible vP. That's a fact.
Why would you ignore those games when Squirtle has clearly improved as a player since then (thus making disregarding them silly) and why arbitrarily limit yourself to just the past 45 days? If we want to ignore results, let's also throw out his losses to Nestea because they were either an aberration (the blink mishap) or the result of cheese. Moreover, Nestea is still generally regarded as a top 3 zerg, so why is it so damning that he dropped a series to Nestea after playing 10 hours straight that day? Also you're clearly stretching to make your point if you're calling Nestea "terrible"; whom do you rank higher in the MU other than DRG and Stephano -- lucky, July, bboongbboong? GTFO. Squirtle has the best Elo on the planet and in that match up in Korea. He's made all of the best Zerg players, including Stephano, look bad. I don't put it past Stephano to beat Squirtle if both should make it that far, but Squirtle is the best in that MU. Also I should have known better than to respond to you since you actually mentioned his vT as one of the MUs that he should be feared in, when it's universally accepted (with the exception of just a few members of the great unwashed masses of nerds) that his vT is his worst MU.
