Funny enough, on a sidenote, literally doing only what was expected from someone was a way how workers could passively protest (and the only way to protest in general) against their employers back in the industrial revolution. ^^" If you dontt know why something is the way it is, its better to keep quiet than to make assumptions.

I tried to find out what was going on, but somehow all people either don't know or those who do know deliberately keep quiet (at least to all the tweets on twitter), so I thought it wasn't some comprehensible reason (like for example sickness). :-/

IPL 4 was a bigger tournament than Iron Squid, but MMA might get the seed anyways over aLive since he is more of a fan favorite though. But this is all hypothetical speculation at this point.

It's possible, but it would have been easier for them to make that decision before the preliminaries, so they could adjust the number of brackets to get to the magic number of 40. Now, in order for that to happen, they'd have to give out a Code A seed to cover the vacancy there. BTW, I'm not sure where all this "there is no Code A seed" talk is coming from, as just two seasons ago, XiGua and MacSed were given seeds to Code A. Even the GSL's own 2012 individual league player flow chart mentions Code A seeds (near the top in blue): ![]()

I think that is very unlikely, because if it were the case, then they would've added one more Code A spot to qualify for in the Code A qualifiers. I doubt that they would give anybody a bye in the first round of Code A.

I doubt that they would give anybody a bye in the first round of Code A. It would also be weird. They fell to code A legitimately and if they want back in they should play better. If the Nightend rumors are true it would be absolutely ridiculous. I like the guy, but none of his results warrant a code S invite. The seeds are messed up in the first place. Foreigners able to compete have teams backing them that can send them to korea for a longer duration without needing seeds or help from GomTV. Best thing to do is just getting rid of the seeds entirely. You're either a true competitor and don't need/want charity, or you shouldn't be in the GSL in the first place.

Today Nightend played vs TLO on his stream and there NE said that he will leave Korea in two weeks. probably just going to dreamhack summer - which he said he was going to do, quite a long time ago. Naniwa is going to that aswell, so i dont think it collides too bad with the GSL schedule
