Such great players. imo you'll see a new version of IM in the GSTL. They got a big sponsor in LG, they need to take team events really seriously now because delivering results (MVP's GSL win is great) is the best way to get LG to sign on for a longer partnership.
Also, the teams are taking GSTL more seriously now in general. Previously, SlayerS was the only team that worked together in the right way to take it seriously. Other than that you had MKP all-killing for Prime and DRG doing the same for MVP, then if you go way back you had IM just dominating because Nestea and MVP were just 10 times better than everyone else.
With Prime vs Startale, the teams/players who previously concentrated on individual leagues (eg oGsMC, Nestea, MVP) and seemed to play GSTL as a kind of joke now have to actually care about it. It's main function seemed to be providing a different format and highlighting up and coming players like DRG and MMA, whereas today it's a legitimate league with some of the best players.

Exactly. Any player worth a damn as of late proved themselves in GSTL before they had individual league success. I hope we're gonna have a lot of cool storylines again. I also hope Tastosis will cast some of the games next week, Wolfdor already had to cast 5 days in a row this week :p

YES! MC! Also good work Seed. I guess a Zerg player beat MC. Wasn't expecting that.

MC seems to have improved his PvT at the cost of his PvZ.

IM-SK looks scarier every minute.
Both MC and Seed are just their Protoss players.

Well, it was a baneling bust. I don't think you can gather much from that. Not to mention that in the last week he has knocked DRG out of MLG.

True. But losing to Symbol and Stephano while beating DRG isn't bad going - certainly not enough to think his PvZ is getting worse, especially considering the patch which screws over Protoss earlygame.

Happy for MC and Seed, sad for Zenio.
