The issue is that it doesn't matter how many bases of the Z he kills, the Z has a massive massive bank. Constantly taking inefficient fights, I don't think is the way to go.

man, GSL format is soooooooooo cruel. So Hard to stay in Code S, yet Code A gets no fame and glory whatsoever. Even Ganzi said fans forget him when hes in Code A

It was much more about his continuous creep spread even after MKP kept killing the tumors, constantly keeping a squad of queens with him for transfuse and to assist in taking out medivacs, and most of all his excellent retention of his infestor count. I think this is the first season in which code A is significantly better than code S o.O and those up/downs...damn.

Had little to even do with the queen/overlord buffs too. Yugioh played great but I am not sure about that statement. SC2 (and RTS) in general are a lot about small advantages snowballing. Have faster overloads and queens with extra range definitely allows the zerg to play more aggressive in terms of economy early game. And being able to make just 3 more drones early can have a huge affect later on. So it is impossible for us to say it made little difference

AHHH even lower-tier gsl players are dangerous, such as heart jyp vines hack curious Yeah. For every single match the casters are like "but don't worry, even if he loses this match he is a strong player and probably won't have any difficulty getting through the up/down matches". I was waiting for that moment of realization when they notice they said the same thing for almost every single player. This GSL season is brutal.

You can't expect people, even these progamers to have completely adapted to the changes yet. Even if the queen/overlord buffs didn't directly contribute to the outcome of the game, they certainly affected the strategies MKP employed.

However the very first GSTL the week long mini tournament, Yughio was actually the most established player on Slayers. Sure maybe not the best, though he at least deserved to play. But YugiOh did play for slayers in GSTL b4. 1W 1L

Though i was a big "Newdawn" fan around Jan of 2011, and i remember watching slayers specifically waiting for Yughio. Though the second GSTL came around, and Slayers didn't even include Yughio on the bench. Nor did i see him during the first long GSTL. So i assumed that he never played at all. ..

Probably because YuGiOh has a more specific style that is based on tactics/strategies as opposed to being all-around solid, which isn't all that great when it comes to teamleagues and having to versus multiple players of each race. Better to just send CoCa out if you need a Zerg/ZvP sniper.
