For those talking about symbol's gosu scouting read in game 2, I don't think there was a read. If symbol can't confirm an expansion he starts 3 spine crawlers for safety. In one of his Iron Squid games, he started those spines even when MMA had expanded, and when he finally got a glimpse of the CC he cancelled them. So he built those spines due to lack of information. Seeing a naked barracks far away from the wall gives you something to think about (in most macro builds, that barracks will always have an add-on), but I think he would have built them anyway since he didn't see a command centre. | ||
