We invite you to join us at Geek Lounge this Saturday, where we’ll be hosting the most over the top Starcraft 2 tournament Argentina has ever seen!!
Here are all the details of this tournament that promises to be both spectacular and unique in its style!:
We went throught all the steps and requisites to make this tournament official. The sign up is FREE, we only ask for a $100 ARS (or little over 20 USD) deposit, that will be fully refunded when players show up this saturday, just to make sure that the players actually show up.
This Saturday 12th May, Geek Lounge will be the ideal destination for all those Starcraft 2 players, where there will be a huge tournament with a $3000 ARS (around $700 USD) prize pool thanks to the folks from Geek Mart, EVGA, Razer and GIGABYTE! The tournament will be starting at [unparsable timestamp format], while players will be required to be at the venue an hour earlier. 3DGames.com.ar (one of the biggest LA gaming communities and server providers) will execute the official event coverage, alongside other press sites such as Irrompibles, TecnoGaming and
TN Tecno (the tech show from Argentina's most watched news network!)

There will be 3 Commentators covering all the action from the most important matches of the tournament streaming live!
The audio systems are provided by Allen & Heath, NEXO and Los Angeles Musica.
The tournament so far will be 2 brackets of 16 players each:
Starter: With players ranked in the Bronze, Silver and Gold Leagues.
Pro: With players ranked in the Platinum, Diamond, Master and Grandmaster leagues.
This way, we'll ensure both massive player participation and overall tournament balance.
The venue will feature a spectator area so you can watch all the games in a 120" projector, and 4 42" LCD's. The transmission itself will take place at the loft area with all 3 commentators (Ignacio “TheArgie” Estanga, Germán “Gerkor” Battiston, Emiliano “Takashi” Xu) detailing the biggest clashes in the tournament. The streaming equipment has been provided by AverMedia.
The tournament will be cost-free for all players and the prize pool of 3000$ has products provided by EVGA Nvidia Geforce, AverMedia and Razer. We will also be giving out merchandising from Gigabyte Argentina.
The tournament will begin at 12:00hs (Buenos Aires Time, UTC/GMT -3) and you can catch up on all the action on Geek Lounge's TwitchTV channel.
