and yes thats correct there is no veto, but you should look at it this way, if you get to play on Taldarim then you are in the semi final! | ||

Salivanth - Emporium is correct, and looks at it the right way! The point of the tourney is to improve player skills on ladder maps and thereby help plyrs overcome "ladder anxiety" Come play with us and discover that Tal'darim is historically the most balanced map in the game! (surprising, but true) Salivanth - In answer to your second query: this is indeed true and is part of what we want to encourage. If we tell players they can't participate in our "ultimate" tournament b/c "they're too good" that would be directly counter-productive. Trust me, if you win Good As Gold you've got a shot against Plat plyrs (and we've had silvers win before!) NewbieOne - thank you!
