Code A is part of GSL In the new system where Code A is mostly a qualifier for Code S I can see why people would count it as part of the royal road, but the old Code A was a completely separate tournament and shouldn't be counted towards it. I disagree. Don't know whether or not winning the old code A would have been a requirement, but that's irrelevant now. Besides, the only person who even got close in the old format was Oz who, I think, finished 2nd place in his first ever code A then made it to the Ro4 in his code S debut. With the new structure, my opinion is that a royal roader merely makes it out of A his first time in, and then wins code S

Full me thrice, and Supernova will continue looking unbeatable until falling in the Ro16 or quarters. Out of curiosity how much better are your code S picks compared to last season? 60%~70%. Much better than last season which was literally around 20%.

I honestly don't feel like MVP would have advanced yesterday if he tried to play a solid macro game against Naniwa. its like protoss doing all the 7gates +2 timing against zerg and VR 3gates/4gates against Terran back in the days. Terran will figure a way out, dont whine. It's not whine, it's just poor entertainment value. I just can't get the excitement out of TvP in GSL as of late. so which period's TvP u enjoy most? TvP is the most boring match-up. Either Terran dominates hard or the Protoss does. The only interesting match-up is TvZ and sometimes TvT. If you are an adrenaline junky then ZvZ is also enjoyable lol. Marineking vs Parting shows that TvP can be interesting and really dynamic. I hope all tvp's go towards that.

I honestly don't feel like MVP would have advanced yesterday if he tried to play a solid macro game against Naniwa. I have seen plenty of Terran wins where they didn't 1 base scv all in etc. Also Naniwa was playing pretty bad so I am pretty sure he didnt stand a shot against MVP on that day. A pity because he could have played much better. Naniwa just made the same mistake against MvP that Huk did when MVP knocked him out. He tried to play greedy Protoss against him. You don't do that. Sensei MVP doesn't like it and he knocks you out when you try that. Yah... true. I didn't watch the last game and a half anyways but in the first one especially Naniwa made some pretty terrible click and micro decisions. I have watched him and normally he has very good micro so I still think he was a bit off. But yah watching MVP in the past, being too greedy is a bad choice with him ![]() A guy as veteran as MVP will exploit weaknesses in your play when he sees them. I don't understand why people that watch him can't understand that. He sees a guy like Naniwa who has a tendency to open greedy and he just cheeses him and then afterward goes up to him, bows politely and asks. "Now what did you learn?" MVP takes you to school, and when class is in session you better listen or else you'll just end up repeating the same mistake again.
