Respecting someone's talent is a valid reason to be a fan, now stop being a douche and watch the game. This. I've been an MVP fan for well over a year now. It's awesome to watch him fight back against his wrists. :D

There are so many pathetic games with zerg or protoss winning that get 5 stars or highly reccomend JUST FOR THAT. Rate it what you want, I thought it was a well thought out and calculated build/execution.

First game Naniwa made game-worth mistakes (attacking siege tanks in the choke, using ffs in the second encounter even though he only had chargelots and archons in his army). The second game was an all-in from MVP. MVP great after these two games? I don't think so... 1) Naniwa did screw up but that doesn't take anything away from how well MVP played. 2) All-in or Cheese is no different from any other standard play, except for foreigners. MVP wouldn't only play standard just to please his foreign fans.

Which in other words means that your rating is worth less than shit (since its 100% subjective) and you shouldn't vote in that pool.

Things that don't work in lower leagues actually might work at the top because of how scouting works and how mind-games happen Not to mention 9/10 times that guy would probably lose with this on ladder. So ignorant to think you can compare yourself to MVP.

He's been insanely talented and on the scene for a long time and seeing his evolution has just been awesome. I feel "attached" to him more because I've been able to watch him learn and grow. Back 15 months ago he was the pvt specialist who dominated the teamleague. His pvz builds were outdated, and he was average at pvp. He was good, but relatively 1 dimensional and didn't experience a whole lot of tournament success. He's improved just such a huge amount in the past year, more than possibly any other protoss. Since then, he's become the best pvper in the world, arguably, and one of the best pvzers, but is actually a little weak in pvt at a time where most protosses in the GSL are doing really well in pvt and poorly in pvz. His styles have changed a lot, but he still maintains fairly original play and has a very "nuanced" style. It seems like he prefers a lot of "finesse" intensive styles rather than just beating the fuck out of people with a 2 by 4, if that makes any sense at all. Parting is good at abusing the current pvt metagame. Talented guy and created huge metagame changes in the matchup, but there's not the same "history" where people have been waiting for him to do really well in the GSL for over a year.
