Honestly, I am fucking tired of seeing people say this. At this point, these sorts of "waah Koreans are robots with no personality" arguments are so blatantly and utterly wrong that I'm starting to think that these posts are just convenient, innocent-looking ways for people to express their racism. And if it's not racism, then it's just willful ignorance, which is also idiotic.
If you even tried to follow the Korean scene at all, you'd see plenty of interesting personalities, not to mention that I can see plenty of emotions - happiness, disappointment, frustration, relief - when I watch Koreans play, win, and lose. But I guess you're just too blinded by your ignorance to see that. People like you are honestly one of the biggest blights of this community. Balance whiners? Fine. Witch hunters? Whatever. Trolls? Meh. But the sort of absolute closed-mindedness and/or ignorance you display toward some of the most highly skilled SC2 players is truly reprehensible.
I realize that this sounds incredibly harsh, but I am simply sick and tired of people having such an indefensible and inexcusable mindset, seeing people (thankfully, not many at this point, but still...) play the "don't want to watch, robotic Koreans are so boring" card at any international tournament. It's ridiculous.
I could not agree more. For some westerners having a personality means being rude or really bad manner. Maybe the real problem is the perception of "personality". Personality is not just having a big mouth and talking louder than everyone. In my opinion, Koreans have great personality, some are arrogant, overconfident, teaser... Here are some examples: Bomber (manner mules man!), MairineKing, Parting.... Of course they seem shy, but you can have a great personality and be shy. I prefer those guys a 100 times compare to Idra or Naniwa...
Once again cultural misperceptions is to blame in this debate. Some people are too narrow minded to fully understand and see the beauty of globalized e-sports.
Meh, there isn't even MC, who is to me one of the best counter example to the assertion "Koreans are robots".
I didn't know robots could dance in a Murloc suit, interesting isn't it ?

Depends on how you define arrogance. In interviews and stuff he's very humble and respectful of his opponents. I'm not saying I agree with this, but sometimes people watch MKP's games and see him as just toying his opponents which can be viewed as arrogance. Some of his builds look like troll builds at times which could be perceived as him just toying with people.

hmmm, fair enough. i put that down to simple showmanship =)
For those cursing on the quality of english vods. TB orginal feed that was muxed into the ironsquid stream have saved vods. Bear in minds that those are overlay free so we should have a statement from IronSquid admins or TB if the links to those vods should be made public.
I really hope so cause the video quality is amazing.

Very classy and not even remotely funny. I'm glad I didn't see it.
I have really enjoyed this tournament and was really excited for the last 4 matches, only to be severely frustrated in my inability to find them.Hence I decided to sign up for TL and see if good folks on this board could point in the right direction or maybe have a chat with the English casters about getting VOD's and taking care/redoing/whatever of the last few matches. I have read the last 20 pages trying to find the English casts. Some people pointed to Iron Squid site or youtube channel: that's a negative, they have MMA vs Alive, the other 3 don't exist or are private. I have also checked out the link at twitch.tv that Mr. Dekkers provided, and that's also a negative. They have MMA vs Alive and most of Alive vs Nestea. I also checked out MMA's FB profile as someone has recommended and that's negative too.
If anyone has the location where I can find the English cast final MMA vs Symbol, please assist. I really got into this tournament and it ended on a cliff hanger.

http://www.ironsquid.tv/show/22/part/4/game/55 Here you go, but be warned that TotalBiscuit and Apollo were casting from a live-feed, so that the game-sounds from the venue will be about 5 seconds earlier than the video. There might also be some video freeze issues in the middle of the sets, there were some problems live. You can find all the Iron Squid VODs, including pool games, on here. Welcome to TL :D
