Polt didn't come out of nowhere.

He won 2 SK Gaming Asia Champions Trophies before the Super Tournament and people were already picking him last in group stages. Before the ST he was considered one of the best TvP players on the planet. He started transitioning to macro play after GSL July.


Definitely, he has been around since the very start and came out of plain sight to win the super tournament.
Fun fact: In round 1 of the very first GSL Polt took out MC.

Where the hell are you getting all these statistics? Most people on the forums considered him (rightly) one of the top terrans in the world before the tournament started plus even if the level of play isn't of todays standard.. it certainly was still the top tournament for sc2 and still is so.. yeah he was a code S terran and still is (even though he barely didn't make the cut in up/downs this season)

you didn't even have a TL profile when this was going on (super tournament and before)

I really dislike terran MKP style heavy bio low tank style. It is just not effective unless your control is ridiculous like mkp generally -.-

Why would arguably the best TvP-player at that time be considered bad?

Meh, this tournaments pretty disappointing so far. Obvious results, subpar casters outside of Azael, long break times. I won't be tuning in any more.

Where the hell are you getting all these statistics? Most people on the forums considered him (rightly) one of the top terrans in the world before the tournament started plus even if the level of play isn't of todays standard.. it certainly was still the top tournament for sc2 and still is so.. yeah he was a code S terran and still is (even though he barely didn't make the cut in up/downs this season)
