IPL against JYP. JYP tried to do that heavy sentry/immortal 2 base timing, like Avenge did to beat Idra at GSL, but got rolled both times.

Gets kinda boring, they should tune roaches down a bit. no, THAT'S bad logic. just because stephano is beating a lot of protoss with roaches doesn't mean it's overpowered. it just might mean that protoss aren't playing properly against it or stephano is just that much better.

At start he used to lose in the first rounds of cup, because it's BO1, and he was cheesed everytime. Then, he trained to play against cheeses, and joined the last rounds, but didn't won btw. Then, his manager told him his injections was very bad, and he trained his injections. In may 2011 he started to win most of online cups, in august he won IPL. In September ESWC. Sick progression, but it took some time...like 5 month ![]()

They beat him by spreading their army and creating lots of efficient encounters, rather than deathballing and frontal attacks. Mostly they held on til late game and then went multitask nuts and created lots of efficient encounters. Not easy, both the MC and Hero series were quite the display of protoss mastery IMHO

It's hard for me to believe this - Grubby crushed Ret and then gets crushed by Stephano. Is Stephano that much better than Ret?
