In the Iron Squid tournament, aLive has successfully prevented MC from making it to the offline tournament and there is no doubt that it would have been more exciting had MC made it instead. Hurting esports is hurting esports. Alive won due to being the better player, it would be bad if the whole scene turned into a popularity contest which decided who gets to the finals

that's no excuse for poor games. they're not playing at the level they should be.

Yay daybreak. Might see more than one mining base each this game.

Puma letting 1 hesitant hellion scout everything he was doing, and then letting his wall in and whole economy die to 4 hellions in game 1 was total mind games!

Okay let's have an invitational with White-Ra, MC, Dragon and some guy on Liquid.
The better players win. How do you want to get around that?

I like aLive very much, he's a very humble player that knows how to win all matchups in straight up games. That really can't be said for a lot of Korean Terrans out there. I think the best player should advance, and the community should accept the fact that better games will follow, despite the fact that their idol got knocked out. I really wish hurting esports would be banned, so no, he's not.

WTF was Puma thinking, throwing away all his vikings.

5 landed vikings vs 3 tanks...what?

That's absolute bullshit. He earned his wins, give him credit. He might not be as flashy, but we shouldn't put everything in personality. The foreign scene puts way too much emphasis on player personality over results, and that is exactly why the foreign scene has stagnated.

Ah! Now that's a good balanced game, I love how they balance (aggressively!) their tech/eco/army!

I like the decision to allin after scouting MMAs third, but it was poorly executed, generally you save up scans rather than investing in air with a timing like this, Jjakji, Taeja and MajOr have recently been experimenting with this.

Ah.... In fact, no... Why all-in Puma?

aLive isnt a interesting player, just another solid terran.

That siege/unseige micro by both players was pretty awesome to see.

TB is truly a good shoutcaster.

That was a sweet game. Come on MMA!!

If your going for that push Puma did you need turrets in your main protecting against drop.
Even leaving 2-3 vikings there would have been okay,
How hard can it be too predict that a bio/biomech player is gonna drop =/

I disagree 100%, These last months aLive has clearly stepped his game up and i enjoy his play,
Not all of us loves MC either. Shame no other Protoss players are left though =/
