I mean so it's been perfectly fine! Some of the casters have been really terrible. There have been consistent stream issues (lag, black screen etc) Sound has been terrible often (bad volume, mono-stereo not done properly, multiple stream's sounds coming through on one stream) VERY important games haven't been streamed. So apart from stream issues, video issues, sound issues and games being shown issues, it's been great! I have had 0 stream issues, and there has been, more, equally as important games all of which were very high quality with 0 lag. Casting is a personal preference, and the obsing has been very very good. The games are the highest level, and just because stephano isnt shown doesnt mean important games arent being shown. From my point of view this tourney has been great. Moral of the story MLG has set a very high bar with the number of simultaneous streams they are now running at their tournaments. IPL can't really compete with that, but overall there have been a lot of good games and nothing to be too upset with (although the IdrA Jakji audio issues were pretty embarrassing and will be burned into that recording forever). IPL is free though, so unless you wanted to pay $15 this weekend for three more streams, I think we should all be pleased with the awesomeness of the tournament and stay happily optimistic about championship Sunday!
MLG and IPL took different paths though, and both have took flack. MLG creates a paywall for its Arena and its premium stream, while IPL has gone for the freemium model, but production has suffered.
Basically both tournaments are taking the step towards financial sustainability, and we are suffering in the short-term.

Creator won on Daybreak.
I'm suprised they even play this match. Polt will win this group regardless and Creator will be third no matter what .

stop throwing a fit because the player you like isn't being streamed
Has nothing to do with worse/better. Has to do with the fact that Stephano Curious and MKP-Curious were make or die matches for the players whereas nestea-ganzi is just for $500 for ganzi and absolutely nothing for nestea as he already is #1 in the group.

This event reminds me of MLG before some of the continuous improvements they made throughout the last year. Not so much because of technical flaws, but because of the organizational hiccups like "both streams idle/down despite several games being played" or "choosing to broadcast a rather unimportant or even inconsequential game while letting a deciding one with huge anticipations being played off-stream". I hope, that IPL will take a look at the feedback in the chats or LR-threads throughout the weekend in order to improve their scheduling for the next event.

A lot of the world thinks Stephano is better than NesTea. And NesTea>GanZi. So Stephano isn't bette than all 4 players being streamed.

AND that was before the rax and bunker nerf yeah Nestea crushed it in the last game of the series, while MKP crushed him with it in the first game of the series.

oh boy that did not go well for NesTea...

noo shoulda exploded banes on scbs...

Impressive defense by Ganzi

wait, that looked like NesTea just blew the banes up, not them being killed by BFH?

My stream doens't always lag, but when it does important stuff is happening.

Brue Frame Herrions save the day!

why did you July zerg

It's sad how the protoss all lose when it matters. Only Squirtle left, not good for Stephano either.

Yeah he did, but the fact that he crush it in the last game proves he adapted on the fly. Edit: AND again, it was before the nerfs to rax and bunker

True, but because of the nerfs zergs don't always build the spawning pool right after planting the hatchery so a 2rax is still a very viable strategy on certain maps.
