Pretty poor analogy. The Matrix is simply a better movie and almost everyone agrees on that.
Korean vs. Korean produce better quality, higher skilled games far more often than Foreigner vs. Foreigner or Foreigner vs. Korean.
And really, where is your emotional connection with many of the non-Koreans? Simply because they speak English at a semi-coherent level gives you some connection to them that is somehow not translatable to Koreans?

That's pretty bad logic. There are so many people around the world that watches world cup and cheers for teams like Brazil even over their own country. Why? Cuz they give amazing games.
Yes, hard to believe, but some people here are actually watching this because they truly love the game, and therefore want to see amazing matches of the highest level. If I want to see random drama, stories, emotions, there's WWE Smackdown every week.

It's a bit silly that there is no loser's bracket ala MLG. Cause we end up with "no point to play" matches such as Nestea vs Ganzi.

Really glad Nestea and Stephano are through. I want to see Nestea get a big win again and of course Stephano for the foreigners

MKP vs Curious supposed to be on main stage after Nestea vs Ganzi but nope. IPL really good tournament I heard. Seriously, out of the 5 major American/European "tournament circuits" (IEM, MLG, NASL, DH, IPL), IPL is the worst, closely followed by NASL. That's a bit unfair. IPL4 has been terrible, but IPL certainly isn't worst yeah people are overreacting. most likely because i also remember IPL3 to have been much better than this. so we expected more of it. In all honesty, this event hasn't been bad as so much as fall waaaay short of community expectations. IPL3, despite the LAN and internet problems, was pretty amazing, and we all assumed that with half a year to learn, teaming up with GSL, etc, that IPL 4 would be even better. It wasn't, and people are not happy. SC2's community has so many big tournaments to watch that our expectation is somewhat too high but IPL4 is pretty bad though.
Plus the quantity of awesome players there increased our expectations.
But, for some reason, they decided to not stream most of the matches. I bet there were amazing games during the qualifiers but we will never watch them.

Ganzi is playing for 4th which would be $500.

There was a losers bracket for the open and there is a losers from the championship. Group play doesn't need a losers bracket as every other player plays every other player.
This match is important for Ganzi since he can get more money ($500) if he wins.

what the fuck nestea? I don't understand it's almost like he's trying to go for a base trade... He could have easily dealt with that attack without losing natural/greater spire -_-.

Just dont come and wonder why atm lol has 120k viewers and sc2 has 32.
if proleague doesnt ban this type of cheese expect even less viewers, i know i closed the window and i wont be bothering anytime soon till cheese gets a fix What a load of crap. LoL has more viewers because they probably have magnitudes more players. Or its cuz they have the stream on the main page of the client? It has a link to the twitch tv page as part of the news when players log in, not an embedded stream ready to click play on. It also does have far more players than SC2 by the way. People really, really need to get off Riot's back and actually praise them for what they do. If Blizzard gave anywhere near as much of a shit about eSports as Riot do (and by that I mean doing more than wheeling Rob Simpson out) then maybe these stream numbers wouldn't be so poor. wut? If you don't compare it to a game like LoL or WoW SC2's viewership is by no mean poor.
To quote from another TL post then during IPL3:
"David Ting stated that there were 100,000 concurrent stream viewers for IPL3."
There are currently 35,000 concurrents for IPL4 main SC2 stream at the moment.
