I 'd be really impressed with Stepahno if he went 2-2 and only lost to the 2 Korean terrans who may have the best TvZ in the world (sorry Gumiho/MKP). But even that would very likely not be good enough since Mana will probably be 0-4. Ret was the foreigners only chance and he threw away the series against Boxer (who he should've beaten) and so none will advance. Oh ye of little faith. Stephano will make it to the quarterfinals guaranteed. MMA is inexperienced in online leagues and Jjakji isn't quite as impressive when he doesn't specifically prepare for an opponent. I'm not saying Stephano is going to go 4-0 but I would be more surprised if he didn't make it out.

Hey when you have the sickest TvZ in the world and roflstomp all Zergs in any tournament booth, who cares about online experience? The whole "nerves" and "experience" thing work the other way LOL. Also, Jjakji kinda pulls his weight in all the GSTL/IPL team tournaments, which FYI don't have much preparation. I'm not saying Stephano is going to go 0-4 but I would be more surprised if he made it out.

People speculated it was IMMvp, but I don't think it was ever confirmed. Now we have 100% proof because MVP is playing on the account anonymous in iron squid. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=226470 He's used it in MLGs and other NA tournaments, this is nothing new.

If you aren't watching this, you should be. Edit: As for the people saying the tournament is a bit too long, I actually like it. Don't get me wrong...I don't want a lot of tournaments like this, but I very much enjoy not feeling compelled to sit through 12 hours of play in one day simply because a whole tournament is packed into a single weekend. I like tournaments that are short...a big bang and then it's over; they feel like most major sporting events to me. Take MLG, for example: it feels like the NFL to me...lots of games being played with one winner at each event leading up to a big finale at the end being comparable to individual games leading to the Superbowl - basically each event is short but sweet and yet a story still builds and there's a nice climax. With that said, Ironsquid feels more like a television series to me: I tune in once or twice a week and watch the plot slowly build until the season finale. As I said, I don't want a lot of tournaments like this but at the same time I like having at least one once(twice)-a-week style thing that I can watch in short bursts without it enveloping an entire weekend. I can watch as I please, not go into hermit mode to do so, and if I miss a week I don't feel like I missed this huge momentous event, the magic of which I can never recapture.
