Feast had similar problems as last time, in that it just seemed like MMA's plans were so much more developed than Feast's. The series was basically a big sign to viewers saying "Feast isn't going to be an overnight bonjwa, but he's getting better by the minute". MMA also looked better than he did at Kiev - I suppose to put a positive spin on it for foreign fans, MMA saw Feast as a big enough threat to prepare well for. As for the actual games? Not amazing. Of today, I would recommend only games 4 and 5 of MC vs Puma for thrilling viewing, and the rest only if you are a big fan of one of the players or just adore the PvT matchup for some reason.

Just look at the current setup for the EU reruns the Mainlink on the ESL page is just showing Thx for watching reruns and a Time that they should have started 4h ago, now if you are just a 'casual' watcher how mutch extra bother are you willing to take to just watch something, of course if you are on TL you can easily find the Real Link and realise the matches are already going on, but again not everyone is so Techsavy to immeadiatly know what to do and instead of trying simply give up = lost viewer. The LoL Comparision I think can not even occur, LoL as a Teambased Game will attract more Watchers atleast all the Teams who play the Game. Many onetime Viewers simply say watching LoL is boring and I agree if you don't play the Game, but those that Play don't care and want to watch it. And then there is another big Problem or atleast what LoL does right you can't compete with a Gameclient that links everyone playing directly to a Tournament Stream on the Frontpage, imagine if SC2 would do that the Servers to handle that Amount of Traffic would just have to be created I think. to closeup I think everyone should just watch what they want, don't care about the Viewernumbers, but about the Games themselves that way ESports will be fine.

The Stage they played on the finals was used for LOL during the week. The SC2 stage (and seating area) was like half the size or even smaller. When I was there, both been filled but for sure no one on the SC area had to stand. So at least on the live event there have not been more more people watching SC2 than LOL. And that includes stop by'ers (like business people). You can actually see that IEM put SC2 on place 2 there in Hannover. And they had CS as 3rd (stage was maybe the same size but it had no dual-desk commentary/analysis). If in x years SC2 would only be the 3rd game, it still would get high quality coverage worth to watch. Why is there always this LOL comparison? What does it matter the game grows bigger? As long as SC2 is big enough that Tournaments keep it in the lineup, it doesn't matter it's the first or 3 biggest Game in that Tourney. As long as there are enough sponsers to support all kinds o Tournaments and weekly Events, there is no reason to envy other games. There are player Streams and commentated Events every Evening. And Community Websites in all Languages offer lists of these Streams and calendars for events. Sure a in-game tool might catch some casual Players. But those who go just a little bit deeper into the game will find the Online Communities and find the Streams there. There Stream thing with restream wasn't nice. But this might be the only mistake the Event had. Restreams the other days worked great, zero delays between games, ... And I like the dual-desks, they always had 4 people (casters and players) watching the games and do casting as well as after game analysis. Also the gaming area (until finals) was open to watch, you could stand like 2 meters behind the players as well as see them warm up or play training. Great stuff to catch casual players.
