also the mirror-match up allows Prime to pick (steal) a map that would be good for NSHS' ace Jjakji. Just my thoughts^^! Their last 2 would most likely be Marineking and Creator. I can't see Prime sitting one of them. I guess there's a possibility of Byun instead of Creator if it comes down to Jjakji vs Last player for Prime with a 4-4 score or something, but even then... Creator is strong vs T
If Prime has Creator left and their opponent is Terran, especially Jjakji I cannot see them not choose Creator.

I guess you have ot have faith in your top players instead of always trying to play the opponent's weakness. Creator has top tier PvT but I guess that recent loss to NaDa is just nagging me. You're probably right, though

Maru is playing like Creator. Always getting the double ebay.

I do really like what Maru is doing besides sending his first hellion(s) behind the mineral line. Seal usually tends to play a very creep heavy (no problem in terms of defence for you) style with a lot of zerglings and a few banelings and delayed tech. So basically he's not going to hit you early and especially not VERY early with mutalisks!
So Maru can sit or take his 3rd base and also get tanks early on and thats exactly what he's doing. He doesn't really need a high marine count early on as there won't be mass ling pressure or sorts of it! loving it. Especially the double-ebay.

maru playing really really greedy -_- . seal trying to get good creep spread. +1 cara for Seal. 1/1 coming for Maru. Finally building more barracks and fact and starport. 2 tanks beyond that. Seal going spire and getting baneling speed as well as a 3rd. and now +1 attack. and burrow.

Naruto, what do you think the better option for a 3rd is? The forward or side one? I guess since he already has an orbital he should fly that CC to the side base and put a planetary at the middle/forward base?

Maru has 2-2 on the way and the Zerg is working on 1-0 for zerglings. If Maru hits a good timing with 2-2 and a good tank count and doesn't fall apart to some sort of mass-muta play, he's in very good shape and it will be very dangerous for Seal. I think his best bet would be either
a) mutalisks picking out tanks of the army
b) investing into a massive 200/200 (or as much as he can get until that timing) baneling/zergling/muta army and hit Maru hard while he defends
c) still get his tech up while he's doing so
Because if he sits on an upgrade disadvantage and techs he could easily die to a timing push.

When I'm playing like Polt usuall does with his initial six hellions I'm always taking the side-3rd base. I don't really like the forward base. Not only is it less - mineral patches and less gas, but its also shorter for the Zerg to reinforce and can be attacked from 3 angles.
Front,
Top,
Bottom.
While you can only attack the side base from either 1 side or going through the natural area and then down... so , I would prefer the side with a supply wall.

So these 6min 3rd CCs in TvZ seem extremely common these days - is it not possible to bust these with like a roach or baneling all-in? I don't think I've even see people try

Seal is playing it exactly right, besides a few so-so engagements, he's doing completely sick! He got his tech and drone count up while still getting enough army to defend or even pressure, absolute brilliant play. Now he has to work on not-dying before infestor/broodlord.
