Excited for the final cup today, the playoffs will be decided and only two guys are save (Although very weird things have to happen to eliminate Monchi, Socke or Darkforce). I wouldn´t be surprised, if Goody wins todays cup, claims the 7/8 seed and then progresses to face Cloud in the quarterfinals.

the only sad things about this cup, is that any player of the Amateur series can participate if he has the "Trusted pro" status.

in order to play the cups you need "trusted pro" - and since not nearly enough players have it, points are meaningless and a bunch of noobs without any skill can participate in the "EPS cups", just because they are the only ones who are able to participate.

quite the joke if you ask me.

Well they did that for all cups so far and I don't think that the participants of the last 4 cups were all complete noobs.

Besides the koreans staying in the type house I don't miss any big name. Also I have been impressed by the level of play some of the newcomers showed in these cups so I have to disagree with your rant.
I want to be with those who share secret things or else alone.

Trusted pro is not that bad. I mean it only costs around 6€ to become a trusted pro for one year, and if you get Top8 one time, you already have won 19 € with your investment. Also it insures that there are no people smurfing or doing a no show.
Also points are not meaningless, the people with the top 8 points are going to the finals.

Even if noobs are participating, it does not ahrm teh tournament, because they will loose in the first round to a better player, thus ensuring that people get one round to warm up :D

That is complete nonsense, since no "noob" participated yet; just a random complaint for the sake of complaining without having any information. If there are more signups then spots the ones are chosen by their EAS ranking.

there are eas div 4 players that participated just because there are div1 / 2 players without trusted pro (i am one of those). plz dont talk about things you have no idea about, ty.

I hope somehow RINE drops out. Nothing against him but there's too many Protoss and he is the weakest out of them. Instead I'd love to see DBS or Goody, only one Terran makes me sad :C

I personally think RINE deserves more attention, he is doing a lot of stuff for the german community (AFAIK the brain behind Szenecast), so I hope he stays in.

I kinow what you mean There's really a lack of terrans in the top8. I think the only ones that have a realistic chance are GoOdy and Olajuwon though (DBS would have to win today's cup, and everybody else would have to do terrible). I really hope he makes it, though ._.

So you think you are much more awesome than other players and are bitter because you don't spend 8.95 € for 3 years of trusted or 3.95€ for 1 year of it?

Monchi vs Biggs is brutal for first-roubd MU. And the winner of that will most likely have a path of Akkis, Delphi, Socke and the finalist of the other half (Cloud/Hasu/Goody/DF) ahead of him.
