Apparently some people are dumb enough to STILL be asking for it, so let's make things clear:
Do NOT ask for re-streams, and do NOT post re-streams.
Do not come here and muddle the thread by bitching about PPV. |

oh and the LAN situation from blizzards side is also a hot subject again, but not that it has a place to be discussed here.
I hope for DRG to get far, been fun games from him so far. Cool to see Naniwas PvZ being so strong aswell.
GGs You must have bad internet or your ISP is throttling your speed because i've been watching 1080p on all 4 streams the whole weekend with minor lag on the first day. Everything else has been fine. Your logic is flawed. No some ISPs throttle high bandwidth users it makes sense :/
Indeed, there is a CONFIRMED ISP Problem, I spoke with Gunrun. Some resolutions (even higher) may work than the lower ones, there are issues. You just have to try them ALL out.

Imagine watching the superbowl or whatever on tv and the quality of the video going up and down, with it stuttering and skipping all the time. The technology exists for twitch.tv to do it perfectly, they just need to have enough servers I think (unless it's an infrastructure thing with certain countries). Either way, it's not something we should be proud of as a modern society. Internet TV is a really basic concept that we should be able to deliver on.

Bwahahaha this is just too much.
Someone call the scooby gang and have them solve this

well on dota 1 matches, they saved the game frequently in case of somebody dropping (warcraft 3) why cant we have save option in sc2?

It makes sense, but what makes more sense is the fact that twitch has had notoriously performance in many regions for more than a year now and that similar problems are reducing the enjoyment of a number of viewers this weekend.

Tumba is doing a good job so far, among the "community' casters he is probably the best.

I think their plan is to weed out the free viewers by lagging the stream so bad no one wants to try to watch unless they paid.

GGs Well to be fair I wouldn't put that on mlg but on their partner twitch - my connection to twitch is as reliable as throwing dices, sometimes I can get 5 streams in 1080p without the slightest lag and sometimes I can't even watch 360p without lag.
Yea, Twitch seems to be really unreliable in Europe this weekend. Extremely annoying to pay 20 bucks for a laggy stream. No amount of fancy layouts or extra content will make MLG worth paying for in the future if the streams stay laggy. I hope the lag will be gone tonight....

Yeah, I have to watch it at 480 /1stworldproblems I suffer a lot. But man, I hope MLG makes it up somehow for the people who paid. We know many are watching it for free and the lag with HD is horrible. Something tells me this could very well be related. So MLG expected few people to buy since they can't handle the massive viewers? Yeah, good answer dude.
I never said that, the problem is more likely at twitch.tv i've understood.

If HoT doesn't feature save/reload and LAN and this shit keeps happening on every single tournament, I dont see a bright future for SC2. All Blizz has to do is get a dota2 betakey to see how Valve solved this problem and just copy it.

Yeah, LAN really would have stopped Oz's computer crashing!

Does anyone know why MLG requires a Credit Card even with PayPal?

You who are getting lags, try linux - for some reason I cant ever watch twitch streams on Windows, but its working on Linux without any problems (probably just better communication with my router on Linux, but worth a try anyway)

Or maybe they could fire up W3.

Why ask for credit card or pay pal when you can watch for free?

I'm on a university network of 100mbit and they certaintly don't throttle high bandwidth traffic, yet I have lag. I have watched plenty of 1080p streams (hosted on Twitch, e.g. White-Ra's stream, NASL, etc) which have ran perfectly fine. Their servers are just acting up this weekend, this really isn't my ISP's fault
