Yeah, I actually think most tournaments should adapt this. It looks really good.

If If. Did you notise how smart Stephano played that. He hide all his lings until he was at hawks base. It was brilliant. Hawk was actually lucky he didnt die to that push

Question: Is Rotterdam's love for PvP bigger than Artosis love for mech?

Stephano did very well, but to Hawk's credit, his crisis management, drone and roach splits were very good.

I was thinking about this too, but I don't think Stephano was losing.
If Hawk scouts the third, push out with roaches -> Stephano counter-attacks with his lings, catches Hawk's reinforcements as they're building, and Hawk either will have to base trade or go back. Going back is a loss. Base trading, Stephano had spines and a lot of production. He goes all lings -> run circles around Hawk -> who knows?
The reason Stephano stayed on ling baneling was because his third was too far away to defend with roaches. His one mistake the entire game was guessing that Hawk went back to drones after that big bust and getting his force shut down by roaches.

Uh no. There's nothing bad about a strategy aimed at out microing your opponent. At the very least they're even if hawk played with banes.
Bronze players are taught to not doubt their superiors. Same goes to you.

More like, Stephano joined a tourney where the only person in it that can beat him is Polt... lucky ;D

Just realized that with losers brackets we have a possibility of Polt and Stephano playing versus each other two times. Me gusta.

On March 18 2012 02:51 LittleCoin wrote: How is this loser's bracket gonna work? Does the loser of White-Ra-Incontrol have to play the winner of Nony-Sleep? Hopefully not...
Looks like loser of WhiteRa - iNcontroL goes against winner of Heavens - Grubby/BlinG. That's usually how loser's brackets work, they try to avoid rematches (which would happen if NonY and iNc won and loser of iNc/WhiteRa went where you're proposing)
edit: in other words, if that wasn't clear, they usually put the losers from the lower side of the winner's bracket on the upper side of the loser's and vice versa, so that they can guarantee that the same players won't play twice in the first few rounds.
