Game four is on Cloud Kingdom. Illusion @ top right; Hwangsin @ bottom left. Hwangsin goes Nexus first. Illusion can't pressure it. 1rax FE into 4rax. Still can't do significant damage because stalkers come out. Blink upgrades and Terran bio upgrades. Third gets taken for Hwangsin. Illusion up in supply because of mass marine production but has less tech. Illusion tries drop play but gets caught and sniped, closing the unit differential. Charge finishes, double forges at work, colossi production big time. MMMV vs. colossi, zealot, stalker, sentry, immortal. Illusion takes third and then Hwangsin takes fourth with many cannons. Illusion engages poorly into the cannons (wastes stims, loses vikings to blink), pushing Hwangsin up by around 30 supply (~170 - ~140). More engagements back and fourth as Illusion takes a fourth. Colossi slowly get sniped, but storm comes out and deals a lot of damage and EMPs are missed. Archons and immortals take out the bio, and Hwangsin barely comes out on top over a very long series of engagements. "G" from Illusion. Sorry for not having any times at all. Illusion proxies a factory and lands it right by Hwangsin's dt shrine. Yes, that's an accurate statement. Dark templar shrine gets cancelled, some bio pushes through the front, and a hellion pops out. Everything gets cleaned up by Hwangsin for about 30 seconds. Proxy starport as well, and blink goes down. Cloaked banshees come out, deal a lot of damage to the sentries and probes. A bunch of marauders rush through the front. Observer popped out for the cloaked banshees but it didn't matter. Hwangsin gg's quickly. Hwangsin 3-2 | ||

Both players open safely. Illusion opens with 2 barracks with a reactor on the first. Second rax has a tech lab with concussive shells. Hwangsin gets 3gates, then a robo. Hwangsin takes a nexus at 7 minutes. Factory finishes for Illusion. Illusion pushes out with a bio army to try and put on some pressure, but forcefields cause him to pull back and put his expansion up (finishing at ~10 minutes). At around 11 minutes, immortals and medivacs are added in to another engagement at Hwangsin's natural. Forcefields keep being used up. Two colossi with thermal lance pop up just in time. At 12:00, Illusion drops everything in Hwangsin's base to stop Hwangsin from moving out, and then lifts his bio up and leaves once the Protoss army pulls back. Hwangsin has been up by ~25 supply since his natural has been up longer. Now Protoss moves towards the Terran base... At 14:00, Hwangsin finally pushes, but there are vikings out now. Good forcefields, thermal lance, colossi micro, and bigger army size = Hwangsin wins! Congratulations to Hwangsin!!! 4-2 | ||

Wow, you totally nailed that lol. Considering Illusion's two won games were blind hellion drops into 1/1/1 and proxy factory into cloaked banshee, that's about as accurate as you could possibly get. (Although of course, you take a win any way you can get it.) Well played ^^ | ||

Casters need a little bit more knowledge about the game. Perhaps playing the in-game music like GSL does so that the casters don't feel like they have to talk nonstop. But I think just in general more time playing the game/ watching tournaments would help the casters. Or as a potential idea: have a third person typing to them in skype chat certain statistics, or just another game analyzer that doesn't have to talk out loud. Kind of like the production crew for GSL. All in all, small criticisms for a great show. | ||
