4 gate Stargate NEVER has a warp prism or +2 weapons with it. They call robo tech while watching a second cybernetics come up. They call a 6:10 third "very fast" when it's a Zerg playing against a forge expo. They nitpick on void ray micro and ignore the map vision and spreads.
I feel like a whiner. I love listening to Husky and Catspajamas... but this is just too much.
>.<
Usually I would pipe in and say that they've got great enthusiasm in trying to hype up games that are already over... but I can't really bring myself to believe they can even tell sometimes.
God... I'm such a whiner tonight...
EDIT: On a different note, I feel like Destiny's only really "won" the baneling bust game so far. All of the other games have either been iNcontroL losing after getting a lead via dumb decision making or simply outplaying Destiny completely. Some of your critique is noted and makes sense. But we said multiple times that 4 gate stargate +1 push was becoming a very standard thing for protoss to do in the current meta game where zerg takes an early third. Not everyone is on top of SC2 constantly and to you and me it might seem as if this build has been around forever, but to others that might be different. About the warp prism play you're quite right, you (practically) never see a 4gate stargate with a warp prism. I confused and mixed up words/builds there for a minute. I was going to get at warp prism pressure ive seen Liquid'Hero utilize and after that wanted to get back to 4 gate stargate which (depending on scouting) can be followed up by a Robo into colossi (JYP does this alot) Sometimes I want to share so many stories about things I have seen done, the stories get mixed up in eachother a little :D Thanks for your feedback though, nice to hear some constructive negative feedback (:
Nice to see casters take constructive feedback seriously and try to defend their positions at the time. I'm sure there is a balancing act between following the pace of the action and adding their own insights/predictions of the game.
A forge fast expand is still a "fast expand" no matter how common it is, so I think a 6:10 third is still "very fast" albeit not totally uncommon these days.

And namste, so you know: Destiny is GM and iNcontroL is top of his masters. Neither are "low-mid masters" players and both are top notch recognizable NA players. If you want Huk or Idra to play these, well, Idra charges $300 an hour to coach. A $100 showmatch where he has to wake up at around 4am to play, I doubt he'll be all that interested in.
Destiny does practice SC2. He doesn't stream it as much (think too many stream snipers and cheaters for him to enjoy it). I think he does LoL as a hobby in that, he puts in his 8-10 hours of work then unwinds with LoL. Or takes the occasional day off of SC2 and spends that time playing LoL.
I really hate people that bash players like this. It makes no sense. No one is putting a gun to anyone's head and forcing them to watch players they obviously don't like. Don't like, don't watch, QQ less. Both Destiny and iNcontroL have GM accounts, this including seasons 3 and 4 seeing as season 5 is just a cluster of nothing am, and multiple Master's accounts with GM mmr. If you are GM on NA it means nothing.
It means that you're not mid or low masters, which was the point....

Being a player of the caliber of these two means you are better than that. If they were not good enough to make GM level on NA then I would be more worried for their careers.

It's that type of comment that doesn't add anything to the discussion and is, quite frankly, insulting to NA players for no good reason.
It's kind of true though, even most pros share this opinion.

Did InControl make a post about the series on twitter this time - or does he only do that when he wins?

Can't believe iNcontroL took a game off of Destiny, let alone 3.

Very low/mid-masterish gameplay by both parties. One could question whether they take this whole progaming stuff seriously or not. :p
I want Playhem to organize some proper showmatches between good top-notch players, as they clearly have the money to do so. Im sure you got it all figured out on whos low or mid masters and whos a top notch player. Yep I do, I'm available for consult in case Playhem needs some assistance in picking these showmatches.
Welp case closed on this guy, NEXT Case
