We, at The Mad Processor, are, again, proud to present the 5th Starcraft 2 LAN tourney in downtown Amsterdam. This special and prestigious tournament wil commence on the 14th of april with THE most scary, awesome, delicious, nerdy and tasty players Holland has to offer. These awesome and (for some odd reason still unknown!) hunks of tasty meat will battle it out for an awesome cash prize, clout and respect from their peers in a battle that will shake the very grounds of the canal infested city that is Amsterdam.
One might wonder why we would pick Amsterdam as a place to host a battle of such nerdy glamour and galore? Afterall, a city that's as awesome as Amsterdam could not stand such an infestation of Starcraft 2 players poluting the awesomeness of our city? Well, as always, the hosts thought of everything. Not only will there be a cash prize, but some additional prizes as well. Next to the cup that will be given to the winning players, we will also have some other prizes:
1.) The All loss streak: if you lose all your games, not winning once, you will get to be Kim Holland's fluffer for three days. This may sound weird, but you will get it when you meet her. So fellas, you better put some work into it.
2.) The 'I registered but I did not show up' douche's: ah, how very common! People that register that don't show up. How annoying! Well, we have a special person in our mids who will be tracking the people who commit such atrocities! Our very special mascotte, Madame Baktaart, who has the blackbelt in midgetgolf, will be tracking down any hoodlum that does not show up. He will break into your house, poop in your closet and stick a Belgian (sorry NoeNoe) flag in it. Be warned!
3.) Arguing with the ref: if you win an argument with the ref concerning one of your games, you will be banned! Yes gentlemen! A once in a life time REAL LIFE BAN prize! How does a RL ban work exactly you ask? Well...
Now you may be thinking... ''Wait a minute! These are not prizes? Those are achievements. There are no such things as RL achievements!'' Well, guess again. There are. Because in Amsterdam, everything is possible.
Join the club, The Mad Processor club, get the achievements and play as a progamer at our tourney! Where everyone plays like doodoo! No worries about Boxer! No nightmares about Idra stealing your girlfriend! No lunch being eaten by Sheth! Just you, and your fellow gold players in a battle for the title of...
GRAND AMSTERMASTER!
Does sound cool right? I know. It must be the coolest title to have as a Starcraft 2 player.
So, to all you nerds, geeks, turds, morons, douche's and fugly's: SIGN UP! Sign up and play the 14th of april. We will welcome you with open hands and energy drinks. I dont know if Topic starters minds but I'm hosting a tournamant in Enschede. All ages allowed, the entrance fee is 12 Euros first place prize will be around 65 Euros. All of the money goes to the prizes, I don't earn jack. By the community for the community.
So if you are a student you can travel for free and if you win you go home with a nice amount of money.
Everyone can pay at the event! Just send a message to dutchsc2tourneys@hotmail.com so we know you will be present. We provided the possibility to pay in front(like last couple events) but this is not mandatory.
As of now we have enough seats left. So bring all your friends (gamers or visitors) so we can have a full day of excitement!
I maybe bring my fanbase of my dad and brother but I wonder till how long is it? Because my dad probably brings me and maybe goes on his own into the city? or with my (steph) mother , but will we eat there or is it stopped already then and if we have to eat do we have to pay for it? And can visitors just come free?
@ThumZz You can bring your whole fanbase(visitors free entrance). You have enough time to eat in between games. You can order anything you want there or you can go out and eat something around the corner at your own cost.
season 6! When we planned this tourney we decided to use season 6 ladder mappool. Now that season 7 began we will still use season 6 maps because of the little time people have had to practise the new maps.
Might come, and most players already played the S7 maps alot, Daybreak is a very common tournament map and Metropolis and Ohana are in the Playhem mappool I believe Anyway looks fun!
Im trying to get into the whole dutch LAN starcraft 2 scene, but i keep missing tournaments like this, Does anyone has any recommendations on where i should look for these tournaments? Or if there are any in the future over here.
