im such a huge fan of him eversince i saw the first sc2 tournament during the beta (zotac cub) and he played on his account called gladheateher. he always doesnt play in a while and then a tournament like mlg is coming and hes like BAM getting top 16 or something trough open bracket. the brackets dont seem THAT strong. supernova obv favourite to win this, but i still think demuslim can get far.

And you kinda get used to the heat after a few months/years. Since I will not be able to attend, I will try to watch as much as possible

Over 40ºC is somewhat common in many regions. I'm in Rio now, and I was hoping to go to São Paulo to watch this, but I will not be able to. So sad..... Well too bad in a good portion to Brazil (Rio for example) it's unbearably hot for most of the year and only really comfortable in the winter.

Group B is really hard to predict, I think all of the three good players are really close in skill, it's a toss-up. If I had to call it, I'd say Feast and Xlord, but on the other hand Feast is so weak against Zerg that he might not go through at all. Group C: viOlet for sure, ReaL or biGs is kinda close, I don't really know. Depends on the shape they're in on the playday. Group D: Ret should go through, but all three players are really good in ZvZ, could be a three-way tie. I have no idea what to expect from Fenix, haven't seen any of his games since he joined IM. That's something I'm really interested in: to see if and how much he has improved since then.

Are you using your own internet link for the SC2 event? I think this would be the right thing to do, since it would get easily clogged by the thousands of people simultaneously using it. But it doesn't hurt to ask, right? Even more so because I'm seeing reports that the 20 GBPS are not holding up very well... And to the dismay of every non-brazillian pro-gramer, it seems the AC is not holding up to the huge amounts of people in there. Anyone not used to the heat will be in a serious disadvantage.

This could be Ret's big win for 2012, the competition outside of Supernova isn't that strong and he's coming from the US so no lag. Violet is also a contender.
