He was a caster in a couple of other games before he got his job now at Blizzard. He's one of the good guys.

I asked him about jetlag this morning. He said he was rested, and felt great.

Yeah I'm pretty shocked but according to point 7.2.1 int eh IEM rule book...
http://gfx.esl-europe.net/gfx/media/masters/rulebook/Intel_Extreme_Masters_Season_VI_Rulebook.pdf
"7.2.1 Map choice The map choice is based on veto: Both teams remove a map from the map pool alternatingly as long as necessary until only the maximal required number of maps (= best-of-mode) remains. These are the maps used for the match. Now both teams pick a map from the remaining maps alternatingly as long as maps remain, determining the order of maps to be played. The team that wins a coin toss (offline) or has the better seeding (online) decides who starts removing, the same team also starts picking the first map."
Meaning that it's either losers pick OR before the bo3 started Darkforce picked tal darim and then supernova picked antiga... although the later method seems stupid

Freiza became obsolete pretty quickly. Trunks beating Freiza and King Cold in like 30 seconds after the epic battle between Goku and Freiza was hilarious and confusing.

It implies the latter method, which is perfectly fine way to select maps. In loser picks the initial map has a huge impact, this is probably a superior method of map selection.

That community manager is awesome Always glad to see big corps' employees not being dumb, it's pretty rare.

I feel so bad for Ret right now. He is trying to ladder practice for the matches and he got 6 pooled and cannon rushed 3 times out of the last 5 games... Thankfully he doesn't have to play today.

It always bothered me how Dr.Gero created androids that are stronger than the guy who killed the "ruler of the universe" I mean...with Cell, it KIND of makes sense because he's composed of their cells, but their previous androids weren't even stronger than Kid goku. Then they can beat a super saiyan.
