Coach Ryo picked OZ, MMA wasn't even there for the group nominations he was in IEM Kiev
To be fair, people always bring this up... Honestly, MMA was known to be the 4th pick... I am sure Slayers team had meeting with MMA and the coaches and decided whom they would like to pick together. Just because MMA wasn't there, it doesn't mean he had no part in the decision... It might have been odd for the pick to be P (people claiming coach was trying to challange him to improve his P)... But maybe MMA just wanted a revenge match since Oz took him out in GSL Nov

Honestly, I think there is a very good chance a P will take this GSL... Which is great since they haven't win since MC... Not sure if it will be MC tho, Puzzle, Parting and Genius all look really good.

MMA made an ' easy list' a whie ago, but all the players on that list dissapeared into code A/B , so the coach had to make his own choice basically. In the group nominations you could see that he had a pretty hard time picking some1

did you watch gsl group selection?
Coach Won(slayers coach) asked if anyone want to play with MMA in round 16 and Oz tell him "pick me,i beat him last season and im confident for beating him again".
also coach won asked Curious "MMA want to play with zerg,you are confident with your ZvP? can you pick Oz/Protoss for MMA?"
then he picks Oz for MMA.

Yet Coach Ryu asked around at the RO16 nominations as to who would like to face MMA, and Oz immediately went for it and said he'd like to go for MMA especially because he thought SlayerS terrans were easy for him, everybody laughed a bit and Coach Ryu moved Oz to MMA's group.

LOL. You obviously did not watch the group selections. When it was the coach's turn to pick, he first said that the opponents MMA had chosen had been eliminated in Ro32. Then he asked who wanted to play against MMA and Oz was the only one to raise his hand. Therefore he picked him. That's it

No respect there... its an individual league not a teamleague you pick the weaker players for an easier run to the finals MMA picked Oz, Oz picked Puzzle. There was no group selection for the ro32. When did MMA pick his own teammate? He picked Yugioh in a previous GSL. He got Yugioh again in the round of 32 in this GSL but that was by a random draw.
Yugioh isn't a code s level player, he was a free win in any group he got. Better to give the free win to a team mate than somebody else.

LOL, do you know there is such thing as trolling? Do you think MVP picked GuMiho because he looked like Leenock too? The Ro16 is very important and I really doubt decisions are made on the spot (until it gets to the later rounds because not many people are left. I think the players just kind of troll to make it more entertaining
